IESV is one of those stocks where i like to have 2 positions in it:
* a little chunk i hold long no matter what, because i like the company
and
* another little chunk i swing-trade, just because IESV seems so prone to frequent ~20% swings. momo traders seem to hop on IESV whenever gas prices rise real high, but then hop back off whenever it levels off

Well, Blue, are you going to be my second husband or not? I need some help managing our daughter, the Goth Vampiress who drives a deep black Corvette with dripping blood graphics on its sides.
I need a second husband, like you, to keep her busy so I can goof off, have fun, run around naked and all that. She is very strict with me.

Reminds me of a story I have probably told but will do so, again.
Back when Piranha, her nickname, was in high school, during summer she would invite friends over, mostly boys but usually mixed. They would do whatever it is teenagers do these days.
I am downhill in our swimming pool skinny dipping.
Some of her boy friends are watching me. Not long, one of them asks Piranha, "May we go swimming with your mom?"
Oh boy, does she ever blow a fuse. Party is over and she comes down, chews my butt really good. She becomes madder and madder because I keep swimming to the other side of our pool so she cannot point and shake her finger at me. She is turning bright red, sweat beads on her forehead, and not from the sunlight!
I climb out of our pool, opposite of her, lift my breasts with my hands, jiggle them, then say, "I think your boy friends like these!"
You ever run around naked and bare foot on eight acres of raw rugged granite boulder covered land with a Goth Vampire chasing you looking to rip your head off? Boy Howdy, I nearly wore out the bottoms of my feet and my feet are thicker than tanned leather! She cheated, she was wearing shoes.
Upward pressure has been building for the last two weeks. This does not mean IESV will "skyrocket" at all. Quite the opposite, I expect IESV to begin dipping and climbing more quickly.
Readers are urged, again, as in another thread, to watch IESV for quick in and out flip plays.
Good future potential, but a better flip play, for now.

Which do you boys prefer? My coming over here to Hot Stocks to help you earn money, or my staying over in my small corner of Allstocks, elsewhere, posting nude pictures of myself?
Cannot have both!
To help in your decision making, you know my participation here at the Hot Stocks board will cause all Hades to break lose.
Jo, IESV is an example of a "hold" stock which I discussed for you, elsewhere.
IESV enjoys an acceptable financial condition for their being basically a "start up" company. Risks are a bit higher than usual, though.
For months, IESV is being diluted, either lender dilution or naked short selling. This has kept prices suppressed. Without this dilution, prices today would have broke through .10 per share, which is typical for IESV, in the distant past.
I suggested to you, Jo, buying this one when prices drop below .05 per share, then selling when prices are just below .06 per share. This is safe and will earn you small profits, quickly.
Contrasting this, I have been buying a lot each time IESV drops below .05 per share. Today I have about a half-million shares, in at an average of .052 per share. I did not suggest this to you because you need to divest of your losers and begin making small profits quickly to build up your cash base.
Nonetheless, Jo, this IESV is an example of a stock you can hold for a long period of time with relative safety, least for a penny stock. IESV will not drop below .046, ever. You can buy below .05 and know you will, at least, break even if you sell.
Again, this returns to fundamentals. You can hold for longer periods of time when a company has acceptable financials. When a company is in poor financial condition, like that other stock we discussed, do not hold for more than one day, two days at the longest.

Tough call. The pictures are nice but it's a hell of a lot of fun when you stir up the pot too. I guess it's a coin toss from my point of view.

I have a recent photograph of me, nude, which is currently artistically rendered for viewer safety.
Still have not decided if I should provide my more recent picture. I am thinking if I get over here and earn some bucks for you boys, others will be less likely to complain about our family being social nudists, and less likely to complain about my being so very comfortable with nudity.
Have you boys enjoyed my link to my nude portfolio I provided elsewhere?
I'm looking forward to playing some of these after I get enough cash back in my accounts. Especially for one like IESV where I would need larger amounts to make better percentages, if I were to buy at .05 and sell at .06. BTW, I see it is up to .072 right now.
I set up a paper trading watchlist based on $2500 and 5 of your picks you suggested.
NWD 800 shares at 1.36 now 1.37 NXTI 500 shares at .46 now 0.49 PWCL 500 shares at .35 now 0.36 ALAN 500 shares at .55 now .49 PYTM 5000 shares at .11 now .15
Since Friday all are in the green except ALAN, but overall that paper portfolio is up $200.00 and 8%. Not a huge big deal, but much better than I am doing with my real portfolio!

I will have a look to discover what charts are suggesting. This surprises me, to no end!
Jo, markets are real bad right now. I would not expect any major moves for almost all stocks soon. Most of these plays will take weeks, maybe a month or more.
This is another reason to set a goal of small profits, frequently; no skyrockets.

Ok, here's the way I see it. You're actually performing two valuable services here. One, you're flushing P & D people that come here thinking they'll get away with it while at the same time providing knowledge to those that truly need it. That's your Hot Stocks service.
Your Off Topic service is to provide humor, merriment, and perhaps even a bit of titillation for some of the younger viewers over there. Again it's a tough call to make. Nudity.... money....? Ahh heck with it, go naked.

nice day for IESV: swing-chunk sale triggered near EOD, but still holding long-chunk. quite a nice day for ALMI as well, bucking the general sharp downturn today in resource/mining stocks

Intrepid Technology Has Been Added to the Ludlow Alternative Energy Small Cap Index
Thursday August 10, 10:48 am ET
IDAHO FALLS, ID--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 10, 2006 -- Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. (OTC BB:IESV.OB - News), a renewable alternate energy company, announced today that the company has been added as a component of the Ludlow Energy Small Cap Alternative Energy Index.
Dr. Dennis Keiser, Intrepid's CEO, believes that the inclusion of Intrepid in an index of leading emerging alternative energy companies is recognition of the company's business model and an acknowledgement of the strides made in bringing the Whitesides biogas plant online. Additionally, Intrepid is continuing construction of the larger Westpoint biogas facility in south central Idaho. Dr. Keiser stated, "Intrepid has worked hard to gain recognition as a strong renewable energy company. We are honored to be included as a component of the Ludlow Index and look forward to becoming more recognized in the industry." Intrepid is among 41 companies that are specializing in the expanding alternative energy field included in this Index.
The Ludlow Energy Small Cap Index is a basket of U.S. traded small cap alternative energy stocks. The Index provides both institutional and individual investors a gauge for tracking the day-to-day performance of small cap alternative energy stocks. The index is designed for investors who have a long-term bullish outlook on the renewable and alternative energy market. The Ludlow Energy Small Cap Index is owned and operated by Ludlow Energy Fund, Inc., based in New York City. www.ludlowcapital.com/indices/ ....

Readers are cautioned, a stock being added to an index, such as the S&P 500 and this index, does NOT improve financials, does NOT improve a company's bottom line.
This is simply an addition to an index to better create a measure of average performance for a specific sector.
News like this will cause an upward spike but this spike will not hold.
Overall, however, trader perception will be improved, will be stronger, which will lend support to IESV share prices.
