I've seen nothing but good news for this Ethanol company. Why is it tanking? It's down about 50% since last week. Anyone know anything?

dunno.. looks like it had a 5:1 split recently, and the chart tells me it's looking for a new bottom..
i've looked at the recent news; you're right, they look good. personally, i'm not sure about the feasibility of ethanol -- but then again, bill gates' investment fund dropped large cash on PEIX some months ago.
anyhow, with SORD, i'd wait for a trading range to develop, some evidence of there being a bottom... i haven't looked at the numbers, so no opinion on whether it's under/overvalued.. do your DD, etc etc.

Ethanol costs about $2.25 a gallon to produce so unless gas goes back to $3.00 a gallon you won't see much demand for this. Big oil saw this coming and that's why they dropped the price of crude as one of many efforts to crush alternative energy. Until ethanol can compeat effectively I don't think she will fly very high.
