Think about our economic meltdowns throughout U.S. history... what is the common theme that leads to it? : unregulated industry doing whatever they want to make a buck. Happened in 1929, during the 80's, with Bush Jr., in the late 1800's i believe when gold/silver market was being cornered in the commodities market, the Robber Baron era etc...

keep in mind that the current GOP propaganda plan is to label Democrats as Socialists, as in the Democrat Socialist Party...

you don't wanna feed that fire, and i am sure Obama is not a Socialist or a socialist.

North Korea may be prepping..well it looks like they ARE prepping for another test. What will Obama administration do? Anyone want to guess? I will! Hillary will call for more "talks" and the UN will pass ANOTHER resolution saying that is bad.....someone DO something already. Bush tried to get tough and was called a war mongerer. We have a serious tick tocker here folks.

Who said I want a war with North Korea? Oh wait, you are assuming once again. I've been there, and not as a tourist so im a little familiar with the DMZ and the tension. War is the last thing we need. We do need to flex some muscle though.

Are you trying to say Clinton was a bully? I believe 911 was in planning for 5 years. Probably would have happened if Gore had been President.

I agree. The US doesn't need to act as the "world cop" anymore. Because it is obviously unappreciated by those we are trying to help. Glad that Obama is trying to change that. Hate to see the US sacrifice it's fine soldiers for those who don't appreciate it.

getting US to spend too much and overextend as "world cops" is the gameplan of our enemies.

it's how the USSR lost everything.

I am somewhere in between on this issue......the one issue where only a fool is inbetween.

I very much see the point that Glass is making and have often wondered about that myself....

I dont think that the U.S. is or has ever been a bully though....Please don't give me examples; cause I can come back with just as many examples of when the U.S. has been at the forefront in providing aid......Bush, Obama, Clinton, Reagon.....I don't care; that is not what it is all about.

That being said....I do think that the U.S. is more involved the world over than it should be....whether doing good or bad.....

I would like to see, not an isolationist state....but a little more isolationism.....a little more domestic interest.

Bully or not the goal of the USA is to keep our citizens safe.
The way I see this being played out is one of these nukes is going to make it's way to somewhere in Africa or Europe and then the UN is going to look to the only country in the world that's willing to help (the USA) and we'll once again come to the rescue.

I guess you could skew our involement around the globe as bullying, but in a time of need most are really glad to see the stars and stripes coming their way.

Don't know about the scenario you laid out.....but I will give you a "hell yeah" on the rest of it.

What is Obama going to do if this happens? Tell them to unclinch their fist? Call for 6 party talks? Ask the UN to sanction? We need to FLEX SOME MUSCLE. This is getting stupid and out of control. Im tired of panty wastes saying nothing can happen. ANYTHING can happen with this nutjob. If he is backed into a corner and feels nothing to lose he will go all out and do something dumb.
