I'll go toe to toe with you again if you resort again to vulgar character attacks. You have every right to your opinion of them, but it ends when you post known falsehoods, supposedly backed up by links to some jerk that makes a living concocting lies about them. That is only destroying the hope of meaningful debate here. I don't favor them, but I do disfavor campaigns to dirty the reputation and character of anyone.
(I thought they sold out even when he was still Governor of Arkansas. I deplore it. Never-the-less, at least thus far, I am impressed with her start as Secretary of State.)

But it does provide a smoke screen to hide the fact that not only have you never discouraged cow from his hateful insulting diatribes and personal attacks, you, instead and quite proudly, encourage them. Then, by implication, you bolster the PMs and other Limbuaugh imitators that want to turn this into a right-wing only insult and accuse chat and make it uncomfortable for anyone that isn't a republican extremist willing to avidly support the extremes of that party to post here.
You should deal with cow and his attitude.

So I have been led to believe. I don't want to know why. To tell the truth, when he isn't in one of his "moods" he can offer some quite solid and thought provoking ideas. But he only does that sparingly and he is a vicious poster, concentrating most often on in insulting the character of others for no apparent reason.
He doesn't need to be banned, just reminded that he gets a bit out of line and needs to respect others AND THEIR CONCERNS.

Beege thanks for the compliment. Realistically I only insult you at the moment.. well add PM to that list.. But I'm real funny at it. And you should know very well why I was banned on at least two or more occasions... Because someone was reporting my replies to your insults... as offensive. Cannot for the life of caterpillars imagine who that could be.
I think there is a happy and glorious middle ground in this whole name calling deal. Personally if I can't throw out a few mind shattering one lined insults once in a while.. It's just not worth posting. Many of us here have been arguing/discussing points for long enough to be able to joke in some pretty extreme measures. You and I do it quite often actually. But Beege.. you haven't posted anything that wasn't an outright personal attack in quite some time. You are quite smart and could offer wonderful debates, but beginning every post with an insult and ending with decrying insulters.. It's getting old. And disappointing. Buck up little birdie and use your brain as opposed to only one finger.

i bolster the PM's? LOL... i bolster the right to free speech...
i am busy as heck. i stop in here frequently for breaks from my work, but i literally put in 12 hour days 7 days per week, and that's beside an hour and a half of breaks throughout the day.
i really don't have time to go back and pull proof of each incident of what has become the normal behaviour here lately. somebody always starts "it" and somebody else always decides to keep it going....
it seems like it's basically you and cash or you and PM, and yes i take on PM. i've told him in so many words a dozen times that he is the embodiment of what makes the middle not want to have anything to do with the right... yet he keeps alienating the middle with each post...
and every time he calls me a lefty i call him something back and told him i would continue until he stopped.
you do make adhominem attacks and then you get them back... i'm not saying you start every one, but you do it with everybody... even me..
i'm not perfect, don't pretend to be. i've psoted stuff i shouldn't have. and it's still there... all over the place. but relentless is right, you are getting grumpier. it SEEMS to me like cash and PM can pull your chain pretty easily and you bark. i read most eveey post here and i am pretty good at keeping track of who said what....
my basic interest is to have more people feel like they want to participate... even if i don't agree with them, i am interested in their point of view... yours too. but i am tired of wading thru five and six post exchanges of nothing but insults to get to the meat.... it doens't have to be so damn personal, none of us here make our living off this, it's entertainment. many people just won't post if they are going to get personally attacked every time

I have no idea about who might have reported your post as insulting, but I must say it could have been just about anyone and just about any of your post. You are generally that obnoxious and almost never reasonable or respectful. Such an action probably wasn't unreasonable, considering how ridiculously crude you can be....choose to be may be more to the point. Still, I can't support you being banned, then or now. I don't hold to the saw about old dogs and new tricks.
So, tell me, rel, recently, what post of yours was other than "an outright personal attack"? (And not just recently.) It defines you, after all. Were I seeking a nice reasonable person, I wouldn't schedule any valuable time at any address you were known to frequent.
Sorry to have been blunt, but it is time you butted out with your too self impressed arrogance and crudeness. The humor that glass so admires wears fast and deep and leaves nothing but the discordant ugliness you contrive and sponsor.
Should you decide to stay or should you leave and then return, please do so with a teeensy bit of respect for the room and less of the ego driven righteousness you parade about so eagerly.

Yeah and then you make certain to explain to everyone you only are blaming me. Others, particularly and namely cow, is supported, no matter what insulting attacks he makes, thus granting him freedom to attack and insult and keep the room in constant turmoil.
