Calm down lefties - Rush isn't going to run for President. All Rush is doing is telling the Republicans that they've lost their way and that they won't ever be successful trying to imitate liberals.

Yep, that's all he's doing, telling republicans what to do.

But hey, Fat Rush, the Doper is, after all, the designated leader of their Party and is only exercising the power of the position.

I am very glad that he is telling the Republican party what to do. They have been a miserable failure for the past 8 years and they need to move FAR to the right!!! Moreover, the timing is going to be perfect, if they take advantage of the opportunity and become actual conservatives. Conservative values will be in great demand after the collapse.

Rush is credited by the party for the fact that they came into power with Newt.

please find me just one well thought out policy Rush has recommended and share it with us...

what i heard him say on Saturday is that policy is not even the issue.
it's great to talk about morals. living them is another thing entirely.

hahahahaha

The very idea that an irresponsible and immoral sex crazed dope headed scumbag like Limbaugh, that traipses off to another country to partake in the abuse of under aged sex slaves and then hires a poor woman that is afraid of loosing a job then orders her to do his criminal drug trade has any right to be telling anyone about being moral issues is ludicrous.

Limbaugh's latest attacker: RNC's Steele
Jonathan Martin Jonathan Martin
Mon Mar 2, 12:07 pm ET

On the same night he was offering the keynote address to the Conservative Political Action Conference, Rush Limbaugh drew criticism from an unlikely source: Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele.

In a little-noticed interview Saturday night, Steele dismissed Limbaugh as an “entertainer” whose show is “incendiary” and “ugly.”

Steele’s criticism makes him the highest-ranking Republican to pick a fight with the popular and polarizing conservative talk show host.

But the new RNC chairman’s extraordinary comments won’t sit well with the millions of conservative listeners Limbaugh draws each week, and Steele aides scrambled to limit the damage Monday morning by trying to change the subject.

“Rahm Emanuel and the Democrats know they lose an argument with the Republican Party on substance so they are building straw men to attack and distract,” said RNC spokesman Alex Conant.

“The feud between radio host Rush Limbaugh and Rahm Emanuel makes great political theater, but it is a sideshow to the important work going on in Washington. RNC Chairman Michael Steele and elected Republicans are focused on fighting for reform and winning elections. The Democrats’ problem is that the American people are growing skeptical of the massive government spending being pushed by Congressional leaders like Nancy Pelosi.”

Limbaugh, asked to respond, said he’d save his counter-attack for his listeners.

“I’ll handle it on the radio,” he wrote in an e-mail.

In an interview on CNN with D.L. Hughley, Steele assured that he, not Limbaugh, was in charge of the party before saying that he wanted to put the right-wing talker “into context.”

“Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer,” Steele said. “Rush Limbaugh, his whole thing is entertainment. Yes it’s incendiary, yes it’s ugly.”

Steele’s comments, first noticed by NBC producer Chris Donovan, are sure to rankle Limbaugh in part because they validate the liberal critique of the conservative force: that he’s merely an “entertainer.”

That’s one of the phrases often used by Democrats who seek to diminish Limbaugh. MSNBC’s liberal talk-show host Keith Olbermann, for example, frequently mocks his broadcast adversary as “comedian Rush Limbaugh.”

Steele’s broadside comes as top-level Democrats are working to portray Limbaugh as the face of the GOP and daring anybody in the party to separate themselves from him.

A liberal coalition has aired two ads tying congressional Republicans to Limbaugh and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday that the radio talker is the “the voice and the intellectual force and energy behind the Republican Party.”

Emanuel also noted that Republicans face repercussions for criticizing Limbaugh.

“When a Republican did attack him, he was — clearly had to turn around and come back and basically said that he's apologizing and was wrong,” Emanuel noted.

He was referring to Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.) who last month took a shot at Limbaugh to POLITICO only to appear on his program the next day and plead momentary “foot-in-mouth disease.”

Conant, the RNC spokesman, didn’t say whether Steele would go on the show.

Limbaugh addresses CPAC on Feb. 28:

Whatever the Party says is their official position, in fact and from the heart and soul of the beast, Limbaugh and Limbaugh alone is the leader and the voice of the Party.

Face facts, Michael Steele is a token, while Limbaugh is a God to the Party.

I think Steele made a mistake by attacking Rush. Instead of this silly power struggle, Steele should have embraced Rush's speech and agreed that those are the values of the Republican Party. When someone like Steele, who is supposed to be a conservative, argues witht the conservative message Rush delivered, that just shows how lost the Republican party is.

when the GOP depends on a talk show host/bad comedian for leadership? it's over.

like i said? final nails in the coffin...

it's time this country had a third party anyway.

The conservatives like you are lost if they have to look to a college drop out who has no qualifications whatsoever to be their spokesperson and leader. [BadOne]

i just looked again at the first ten minutes PM.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qtvtBGWgBc

i saw the first 5 minutes of Rush just being the buffoon that he is...

for starters? here's how ignorant rush is, he told a joke about Larry king in heaven?

Larry King is Jewish. I dunno if he practices Judaism anymore (don't care either), but he was born to a practicing Jewish family..

so the joke about Larry talking to St Peter nd being worried whether rush is in heaven with rush is in, let's say, very "poor taste" on several levels.
that's his opening act.... and yes, it's an act.

then he goes on to very generically describe "conservatism".

he says "conservatives love people".. so does my dog [Big Grin]

he blames all the problems with society on "onerous taxes, regulations, and too much government".

sounds like a pirate to me. [Wink]

this show he put on is not a political platform, it's circus sideshow.

fact is? i am a conservative, and i have nothing in common with him.

Rush's big brainwashing azz is one of the problems to the solution.

Sombody that thinks they're always right(this means you too bg), can not always be right.

And, Nancy, or should I say, Obama is so far left, he even writes
with his left hand!

Liberals are submitted to pop culture, not me!

Why is the Democratic Party the party of "the working man" when they are so big on welfare?

Blame and victimhood. Bdgee you label Republicans as judgemental but you judge them on here all the time. Whats up with that huh? A party that forgives Obamas drug use and yet blasts Bush for a DUI. That coming from a party that glorifies drug use. Liberals are backwards, kill the baby in the womb and get rid of the death penalty. Bunch of crybabies over the fairness doctrine. Free speech son, just because you cant produce a radio show that people want to listen to they want to get government involved...why? TO PUSH THEIR IDEOLOGY ON OTHERS.

Did anyone see the McDonalds kid who went nuts over Obama? Asking Obama what someone else is going to do for HIM, instead of him doing things himself to make it. He wants the government to do it for him. Typical liberal.

What is the ultimate stamp of a woman's power, bringing forth life, or canceling it? Obama's health care plan....cancel it.

Since 1973 Planned Parenthood has killed over 11 million black babies. They are all over the inner city. Sick. You make a "mistake" and the child pays the death penalty. It was no mistake. It is not pro choice. Its pro abortion. Nice try to give it a different name to make it sound better. Liberal solution to abstinence: abortion.

You never see a liberal proud of this country. Go ahead and jump on that health care wagon paid for by the taxpayers who provide jobs.

"A gun kills people just like a spoon made Rosie Odonnell fat"

Just like Rush Limbaugh turns your mind to mush. Don't bother with the facts just make them up to suit yourself.

Rush Limbaugh didn't make the far Right dumb they just cut the funding for Library's and never learned to GOOGLE.

Joe the Plumber is their hero:

On October 20, Wurzelbacher appeared on Hannity & Colmes. During the interview, he stated that he thought that Obama's plan to 'spread the wealth' was socialism, and that he didn't want to take 'somebody else's money who worked hard for it'. During the same interview, he stated that he and his parents had benefited by being on welfare during tough times.[26

Since his meeting with Barack Obama, a campaign to draft Wurzelbacher to run for the United States House of Representatives in the 2010 election started with the website joewurzelbacher2010.com.[41] The Washington Times and the Boston Herald have reported that this campaign's goal is to draft Wurzelbacher to run against Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Ohio's 9th congressional district.[42][43] The website was created by Trevor Lair (presently the chairman of the Massachusetts College Republicans),[44] Derek Khanna,[45] and The Massachusetts Alliance of College Republicans.[46] The website encourages visitors to sign an online petition that supports Wurzelbacher’s run for office.[47][44] Laura Ingraham asked Wurzelbacher, on October 24, 2008, if he would run against Rep. Marcy Kaptur. Wurzelbacher responded that he had considered the run and would be "up for it".[

In November 2008, Wurzelbacher started the promotion of his book Joe the Plumber - Fighting for the American Dream.[81][82] Co-written with novelist Thomas Tabback and published by PearlGate Publishing[83] of Austin, Texas,[84] the book addresses Wurzelbacher’s ideas concerning American values.[85] In particular, Wurzelbacher criticizes John McCain and states that he did not want him as the Republican presidential nominee.[86] The book also describes Wurzelbacher's experience during the 2008 election and discussed various milestones that shaped Wurzelbacher growing up. In addition, Wurzelbacher offers his definition of "a true president."[87] Also, Wurzelbacher refers to himself as "the most famous unemployed person in America." He also states, "I was and still am flat broke."[1]

Yep you guys talk about the Dem's and Lib's but put your arms around a guy who isn't working and proud of it. In fact you want to elect him to office.

No hypocracy there. As Property Manager would say: He's a deadbeat and proud of it.

Why? Because the socialists don't encourage work and they're for the sharing of the wealth (from those that are productive to the lazy)! That's why.

I can't show you the source, Jordan, but I can tell you how to hear it.

Turn on your radio and listen to the Fat Rush show. He's the republican's God, the most powerful voice in right-wing-America, King of the Hill, so to speak, of the manure pile of political propaganda and anti-First Amendment lies and misrepresentation of Constitutional fact.
