Time to start discussing the draft folks. And the potential contenders for 2009.

Lions are screwed again. The no 1 pick is not going to be that good and nobody will trade because everyone else knows this. We are going to probably draft Stafford which means we get to ruin another QB's career. Our GM proved himself no good when he worked under Matt Millen. The Fords are terrible owners. The Lions will finish 4-12 at best if we don't get something going in free agency. I didn't want to discuss politics in this thread but it sounds an awful lot like the pub party. (sorry)

Is Knowshon Moreno entering the draft? He would be my first choice of the draft considering the star QB's are staying pat in the NCAA.

All I know is that there are some good linebackers coming out and the lions better grab 'em along with offensive linemen. I would love to see Andre Smith come to the D.

The Raiders got a new coach... He's the same one they had. Al took a while to, commitment to decision. Sounds like the Raiders I know.
The only thing I want to know is, just how good will 2009 will be to Pacman"Adam"Jones...lol. He'd be a good fit in Oak-town.

So the Jets gambled on Farve and lost. Are they gonna try to draft a QB? Or pick one up in free agency? Any Jets fans with some insight?

any thoughts on Kitna's move to the Cowboys?
LOL...my thoughts...he'll be a LOT happier down there
he will, at the very least, have an opportunity to WIN one game...

Bears gave up to much for Cutler imo...Denver hustled them for a first and third rounder in 09, first rounder next year and Kyle Orton...Four first round draft picks in two years is gonna make that transition to a 3-4 alot easier...

Broncos Hall of Fame QB John Elway said Thursday's trade of Jay Cutler from Denver to Chicago was "sad."
"I wish it hadn't come to this," Elway told the Denver Post.
"I'm disappointed. . . . It's a sad day for one of the elite franchises in football and all the Broncos fans, and I'm sad."
Elway had said last month that Cutler was getting bad advice. He indicated that there was probably room for Cutler and the Broncos to solve their disagreements.
But the team grew impatient with Cutler, the best Broncos QB since Elway retired.
Elway said he sympathized with Cutler, since he was angered when the Broncos talked about trading him after the 1991 season. But Elway got over it.
Cutler never got over the Broncos discussing him in trade talks in late February.
"Jay's a great talent. I think he can really play the game and has a chance to be a great quarterback in his career," Elway said. "But they went so far down the road, and I guess there was no turning back."

If I was a Broncos fan, I would be crossing my fingers B.J. Raji slips to #12...Even if Sanchez is there, I would still take Raji...Does not matter who your QB is if you have the 29th ranked Defense in the leaque...

I agree. The Broncos are in bad need of some D, they should have got Brian Urlacker for him...
