Ok I know a lot of you out there are OK with abortion and thats fine whatever, but this is sick. Obama voted against a bill that would have ended this:

In 1999 a gruesome discovery was made that an Illinois hospital was shelving babies to die in a soiled utility room who had survived their abortions.

The Illinois Born Alive Infants Protection Act was introduced in 2001 to provide legal protection to all born babies, wanted or not, including the right to medical care.

Then-state Senator Barack Obama voted against Born Alive 4 times in 3 years and was the sole senator to speak against it on the Senate floor in 2001 and 2002.

In 2002, the Federal version of Born Alive passed unanimously in the US Senate and by overwhelming voice vote in the House. The pro-abortion group NARAL even went neutral on the bill.

But In 2003, Barack Obama voted against the identical version of Born Alive in Illinois. Then, for the next 4 years he repeatedly misrepresented his vote until it was recently discovered in the IL General Assembly archives.

Please someone show me proof that he voted AGAINST this practice.

Why can't you get it through your ill-informed bigoted head, that crap you are posting is a pack of nasty irresponsible lies cooked up by nasty minded liars, and stop spreading those lies?

In 2002 the Senate was absolutely dominated by republican yes men that voted on the basis of orders from the Party instead of fact and the good of the people.

What you need is to go to the effort of finding out the truth before you demand that others provide you with proof the lies you post are not lies.

Obama voted against assigning to the Federal Government the power to determine if a woman had the right to life, i.e., if being female excuses the Government ignoring a female's Constitutional rights, specifically the right to live.

again this is another political ploy of the GOP to make abortions a political football.

James Elgin Gill (born on 20 May 1987 in Ottawa, Canada) was the earliest premature baby in the world. He was 128 days premature (21 weeks and 5 days gestation) and weighed 1 lb. 6 oz. (624 g). He survived and is quite healthy.[31][32]

The record for the smallest premature baby to survive was held for some time by Madeline Mann, who was born at 26 weeks weighing 9.9 oz (280 g) and 9.5 inches (24 cm) long.[36] This record was broken in September 2004 by Rumaisa Rahman, who was born in the same hospital[37] at 25 weeks gestation. At birth she was eight inches (20 cm) long and weighed 244 grams (8.6 ounces). Her twin sister was also a small baby, weighing 563 grams (1 pound 4 ounces) at birth. During pregnancy their mother had suffered from pre-eclampsia, which causes dangerously high blood pressure putting the baby into distress and leading to birth by caesarean section.

now see if you can find out how many post-21 week abortions are performed?

ever hear of pre-eclampsia? or any of hundreds of other condition like it? nope, but it's easy to get upset about the thought of the abortion isn't it?

Why the US Infant Mortality Rate is So High

by Valorie Delp | More from this ****ger

In case you hadn't heard, the US has the second highest infant mortality rate among the developed nations. If you're thinking our health care system stinks and that's why so many babies are dying. . .think again. While certainly universal access to health care (or lack thereof) does have an influence on whether or not mothers get adequate prenatal care, the reality is that the United States pushes the boundaries on what can be done in both fertility and neonatal medicine.

Pushing the Envelope on Viability

One reason as to why so many babies
are dying is that doctors are saving more premature babies with advanced technologies. But these super preemies don't always live. The younger an infant is born and the less it weighs, the more likely it is to die. These precious little angels also contribute to the infant mortality rate. But many countries that 'beat' the United States on the list, won't use 'heroic measures' to save super preemies.

Pushing the Envelope on Fertility

Something that is interesting is that the United States also has the highest rate of super twins. (Super twins are triplets, quads or more!) Super twins do happen naturally but it is very rare. Most triplets, quads and all quintuplets or sextuplets these days are born via fertility treatments. However, super twin pregnancies are very risky and always result in premature babies--who are more likely to die.

Some understanding of the situation may be had by noting that the Wade of Roe Vs Wade is Henry Wade, then the District Attorney in Dallas.

Henry wade remains to this day the bringer of charges most overturned by appellate courts ever in the U. S. He was prone to charging people with crime and hiding evidence that would exonerate them for no purpose other than to collect headlines before the next election. Even today, there are still innocent persons being proved to have been improperly found guilty by Wade's over zealous efforts that have been in prison or on death row for dozens of years. At least three have been cleared and released from prison in the last year after having been in prison over 20 years due to being wrongfully charged by Wade's office.

In all the history of this Nation, even including Judge Roy Bean, no person has fouled the justice system even a fraction of the amount that can be traced directly to Henry Wade.

The wrong of Roe vs. Wade was the anti-American effort by Henry Wade to use abortion to inject religion into the law and that "stuff is just sick".

true CCM, but all they have to do is put the simple phrase protecting the health of the mother in and the issue would go away...

you heard what McPain said? he basically said "they lie" and you can't trust them.

bet he trusts HIS doctor when it comes to his skin cancer tho...

if the Dems are smart? they'll go ahead and pass a law like that when they have control. of course? they like having a controversy out there too... so i don't expect anything productive out of either one...

BTW? i've searched far and wide to find some statistics on how may late term abortions( 5 months or later, when a baby has a chance of making it) are actually performed, and the only time i found ONE single set? they said it was less than 1%... they offered no stats on whether it was for the health of the mother or not.

Here are some quotes from the man himself....

From Dreams of My Father:'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'
From Dreams of My Father:'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
From Dreams of My Father:'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'

And FINALLY the Most Damning one of ALL of them!!!
From Audacity of Hope:'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'

Dont you just hate how anytime something comes out about Obama it is a lie from the right wing conspiracy? You mean to tell me that in no way has Obama any link or relation with rev wright, pastor flanagan, ayers, botch abortion deaths, ACORN, etc

Oh if abortion should stay out of politics like some hear like to point out then why does Obama give speeches to planned parenthood and get support from them?

Anyway, I just mailed off my ballot today with my votes. Only vote anyone here would know anything about is the Presidential vote. I voted for Nader.

McCain just wont distance himself from Bush. All him and Palin talk about is Obama at their speeches. Reasons why NOT to vote for Obama instead of focusing on why they should vote for them. I am a Republican traditionally but this ticket sucks. Obama is getting caught in lies. They are even changing the wording on his website under the fight the smear section. I also dont believe in "spreading the wealth around"

What the hell is that about? Even though I am not in agreement with a welfare state I am so tired of hearing about joe the plumber.

So nader got my vote, and I voted against my congressman who is in office. Clean house I say....

Funny how every election there is always some proposition to raise taxes for whatever reason. In my district they always propose it as an educational tax, because who would dare vote against education right? Well, they are all special interest projects and I dont like them!

Well thank you so much! Another vote for Nader who is a shoo in!! ROFLMAO! Another wasted vote that will have no impact on the election. And you served in the military to boot, or at least so you say, yet you decide to waste the vote you were supposed to be fighting for. Pretty ironic.

Look Pagan, my state's electoral is already gone to McCain. Look at Kansas, Obama wont win. It isnt a wasted vote if I dont believe Democrats should rule every corner of Washington with an Obama win like how the Republicans did these past years.

McCain wont stand up against Bush, and im tired of hearing the same thing instead of what the details of his plan are.

So you think I wasted my vote on what I was fighting for? Well how about you tell me what I was fighting for over in Iraq because all I saw was massive handouts in the billions to Halliburton subsidiaries such as KBR.

KBR gabe my whole camp contaminated water btw which we looked to file a class action lawsuit and the govt blocked it.....wonder why. You can see the story here:

http://abcnews.go.com/International/IraqCoverage/story?id=1533349

Camp Junction city in Ramadi. My first tour that place was a hell hole. Mortar and rocket attacks daily and we all had nasty rashes and foul craps from the water. We thought it was just the country but it was KBR.

You should know who that company is linked to.

I didnt fight over there for anything but my fellow platoon members and thats it. I cant bring myself to vote for Obama with his voting record on botched abortions.

If Obama wins I will give him a chance and look forward to something different. I just wont vote for him. He scares me in many ways. I would rather be objective to him than a sheep drinking his kool aid like some here do.

I cant bring myself to vote for McCain, OR Obama. I know Nader wont win, but I feel better about voting for him than either of the party candidates. I am 50-50.

When Barack Obama opens his mouth to speak, liberalsí ears seem to filter out the message and listen only to the words in a hypnotic trance. Their devotion to Obama mimics that of radical Christians to Jesus Christ.

Criticize Obama to a liberal Obama supporter, and itís as if youíve questioned the existence of God, only the resulting argument is much angrier and holds far less intellectual merit. It isnít Obamaís following that is of the most concern, however. A public speaker as smooth as Obama will inspire fans on his own talents. Letís remember, however, that Barack Obama was a lawyer before he became a senator. And, like most lawyers, his words are best when rehearsed.

both parties are set to kill us- we won't be here for it( another 25-50 years before this process is complete)

you guys argue about abortion, economy, he said she said ( all important, but trivial in the big puzzle), when the enemy is both parties- how clear is it! VERY OBVIOUS

they both use all the tactics in their treasure chest of disposal to distract everyone from the real issue- civilization as we know it is at stake

technology is here- it will now be used to lift the entire world or crush the entire world- the people's time is running out

Jordan you don't think McCain is concerned?

He has proven himself beyond a shadow of a doubt serving our country for 40 years.

Obamas history is a mystery. And if we bring up anything negative we are condemned a liar.

The only thing McCain is concerned about is his rich buddies.

And by the way, not only does he say you have to have 5 million dollars to be rich, he now claims that a net quarter million dollar income per year is poor. He hasn't the experience to be concerned.

Come see the messiah! Drink thy holy water of kool aid, for he hath performed miracles. If you dare speak against Obama you are the same as someone who speaks against the Bible to a Christian!

Photobucket

Just look at how sick these sheeple are! Look in the background of the picture on the sidewalk..another shrine to Obama with beads!!!!!! Farrakan is calling him the new messiah, farrakan has also said there is a new muslim movement now, people passing out to see obama (which could have been planted) Obama talks about a light shining down from the clouds and having an epiphany to go vote for him, I mean the list goes on and on and more and more people are becoming militant in defending him. Just look at how bdgee and others react when you want to investigate more into ayers, or wonder just how much rev wright hates America....no not America, but G-Damn America according to him!

Jim Jones anyone?

The Obama kids singing praises in California, the militant Obama Youth chanting "alpha---omega" marching around for Obama, WOW!
