Shoot, he'd send me that, anyway... and vice-versa...
I get your meaning, though. And...I think so, too.
If you've followed the posting you know I was telling Up early on that the Pack was headed for a great season. I figured the young guys would get better, and Favre's absolutely galvanizing as a leader--at this point? He is Legend. Those young cats will follow him into the Maw of Disaster.
The plus for us is more balance, and quite a bit of depth. I think we've got more depth than during the The Triplets era...certainly more than we had by the time of their third Superbowl.
lol, I'll never get over Jerry's firing Jimmy...letting him go, whatever. Four in a row was....r-i-g-h-t there, lol... That record would stand a loooong time.

So it's straight up or not at all? Man, just because you're from Texas and might carry a lasso doesn't mean I'm just gonna jump into it.

I'm just glad I got the NFL Network. There's so many people that aren't even going to see the game of the week. I bet it's just the beginning of the NFL going pay-per-view one of these days.

I agree, Hwy.... The NFL is way way out of line on this, ignoring the very people that made them billionaires.
Locally, we have the worst of that with J. Jones wanting to charge multiple tens of thousands of dollars just to enter the bidding for seats in the new stadium the City of Arlington let him build with way too much public money involved.
But what the hey?????
They transferred over thirty million in public funds into dubya's pocket with the Ballpark steal.
In my lifetime I expect to see all sports only on pay tv and the common man priced completely out of the show.
Could maybe it be a regenerating tool for minor league baseball? Would be a wonderful thing for so many small towns that lost them years ago. A summer evening watching a mixed bunch of on the way down used-to-be's that were once up and understand how to play the game and some 18 and 19 year old wanna-be's learning to handle the grind of professional ball going through a C or D league was a delightful pass-time for the whole family once upon a time.

yeah, it ain't right... but you're probably right. The last big boxing match(big name anyway) I saw on free T.V. was a fight on a Sunday morning when Evader Holyfield fought somebody to help some charity about 6 years ago I guess. You never see a big fight for less than 39.99 any more.
I just saw Ditka pick the Packers 21-17 on ESPN a while ago Upman.Hummm

wheee...good series, exciting...bad call on Ware, though--he moved UP, not across...Hope that's not a pattern. Would like to see a well-called game, for both sides...Each side was close to 6, though. Near interception that would've been TD, and near bomb that would've been TD...
3-0 Pack
