Yep, I love the triple A predictions too. "Travel this summer will increase by 1.4%..." BS They have never to my knowledge ever said travel will decline. Just name planting -------------------- No longer eligible for government service due to lack of tax issues.

I didn't need gas yesterday, but the price at about 9:30 pm at the el-cheapo stations (they pump the exact same gas as the big boys do) was at $2.899 on the west side of Fort Worth. I can't say about the east or south or north side, as it isn't uncommon for the price here to be $0.20 - $0.25 a gallon different at stations of the same brand at stations only a couple of miles apert.

Oil has dropped under $112 a barrel and i am still paying $3.95-4.10 a gallon for regular in CA. Anyone remember what prices on gas were when the oil was this price before the rise?

About $3.95 for regular here in Long Island... but I suspect it will go up as we get nearer to December... we are letting our guards down because of recent price decreases... -------------------- Let the world change you... And you can change the world. Ernesto "Che" Guevara de la Serna

here in MS i'm seeing between 3.45 and 3.65 for regular... it always seems tome like we see the price drop more slowly at the pump than it rises.. on a rise? the buyers for the stations charge what they WILL pay for the next load as soon as they know the price. on the drop? they wait till their competition across the street lowers... -------------------- Don't envy the happiness of those who live in a fool's paradise.
