I had my hands reversed last year. It's kind of a pain to use them now, but hey! Fifty bucks is fifty bucks!

Penile reduction a few years back, 100.00 per inch. Earned me 500 bucks. Thinking about going back in as I still can't wear shorts in the summer.

I also had the soles of my feet surgically grafted to my buttocks last July.

I got eighty-five bucks for that one!

Kind of funny, last summer I had a variation on an old joke. I was fishing with a buddy when we both had to pee at the same time. Standing on opposite sides of the boat he made the comment "boy, that water's cold", my reply was "yeah, pretty deep too".

reminds me of the time I streaked a Halloween party...then turned and just stood looking at some at the crowd...

Suddenly, one of the gals yelled out, "Oh, I get it it--he's dressed up as a tripod!"

Well, I'll try and give you a serious answer, Trade04.

I have not ever been in a clinical trial, but my mother used to do them all the time. Usually, she would do them over a weekend. They give a control group a placebo and the other group gets the drug. You do not know which group you are in. What they use the clinical trials that she was in was to find out possible reactions to the drug. They usually put you up in a clinic. You can watch TV, read magazines, work on projects during that time, but you don't leave. You have to give blood when they want you to, or have your temperature taken whenever.

I don't know a whole lot about pay, but I think Mom got a couple hundred each time. She enjoyed doing them, cause she got a break from Dad!

There are also trials where you don't stay overnight and you have to report once or twice a week, but my mom never did those kind.

My wife participated in a couple. Wound up growing a third boob in the middle of her back. Comes in real handy for slow dancing.

Good Post Jo.

Keep in mind Trade04 that you might have to have a physical and blood tests + sign tons of paperwork before you can even join the clinical trials.

I recommend you sign yourself up for as many clinical trials as you can, trade04.

Five or six a day, if possible.

i did read a book once, about a guy who really did volunteer for some clinical trials...

the title was Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test...

the guy who was in the trials? he went on to write One Flew Over The Cuckoo's nest....

reading that book? it convinced me not to consider volunteering for clinical trials...

heck, they are only "practicing" their medicine on you when you go to the doctors anyway... [Wink]
