There are things about America that of course those in other countrys envy. That is no secret.
And there are many things about my country that Americans envy as well. You come to my city in droves just to smoke our weed and take our ecstacy and shoot up with heroin.
So what is it about America that is driving you all to fly across the ocean, pay outrageous travel expenses, get screwed on your currency (because ours is worth more) just to get high? Why do so many Americans need to get so high and get so put out of their minds? Something about your country must not be right... or maybe it's just the people that are not right...

If I wanted to waste my time researching the different parties in European countries I could easily classify them as either Dem or Rep... but no matter what faults our system has and no matter that sometimes a idiot gets elected... our system is the most perfect one in the world compared to others and that is the reason we are THE world superpower and not other countries... if other countries copied our system I have no doubt the U.S. would have some real competition... and BTW when we go to voting polls to vote on a politician they do give you other choices other then the Dem's and Rep's to vote for.. half a dozen political parties are listed including the communist party... just I thought I let you know.. btw I like your User name but only because I like the band Nirvana...

No I am not a Bush supporter. I've been fascinated witht the American political system for many many years. I am of the opinion that both of your political parties are absolutely dismal and ridiculous.
And what I am attempting to gain understanding is why the American voter continues to vote these corrupt law makers into office. Third party groups are inherently tied to non-mainstream agenda issues in order to differentiate themselves from the big boys. It gives them distinction but it also ties them to sideline issues as their main platform that ultimately hurts their chances of any meaningful turnout.
Only third party candidates that got respect such as Ross Perot and Jessie Ventura minimized the fact that they were a third party candidate in the first place and really ran tough on the same issues as the big boys. (Can they integrate into the system if they win is the next question. Ventura couldn't and paid for it.)
Until the greens or the libertarians or whoever learn to sideline their own agenda and fight on the turf that America wants to hear about they will not produce meaningful results.
Europe can laugh, they will still listen at the same time. That's fine. I've had my share of laughs at Europe too. Friends do that to each other and still hang out. Kinda a definition of the word to The Bigfoot's mind.
