Best concert: Pink Floyd, Animals, Milwaukee, WI sometime in 1977, I think. The damn pig blew up and shook the stadium and over the p.a. system they had to ask everyone to stop buying "tabs" and "joints" as bad "stuff" was going around.

AC/DC (with Bon Scott)/ Ted Nugent MSG '79....outrageous...Van Halen/Black Sabbath '78....tore the roof down...Pink Floyd...all...Roger Waters....awesome....Led Zepp...most of the time...ZZTop...EVERY time....Neil Young and Crazy Horse....The Who with Keith Moon...awesome....

The best concert I've ever seen was Pearl Jam. I don't like them, but they were tight and solid. The most entertaining was Green Day and Beck.
Some of the worst live bands I've seen were Black Crowes, Oasis, Nickleback, Joe Satriani, Lenny Kravitz, 311, and a bunch of other bands I can't remember...

David Grisman and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones together in Seattle were amazing; Ween is a heluva lotta fun; when the Dead were "on" they were great; Jane's Addiction the first time around (early 90's)were incredible; Martin, Modeski, and Wood, all I can say is WOW and WOW and WOW. Wish I could have seen Jimi and Stevie Ray and Zappa and...

I saw The Birds at the Whiskey-A -Go-Go in 1967, they were pretty good. I would have like to seen The Doors there, love the song Light My Fire. Also saw Eric Burdon about 5 years ago, he was even better live, A lot of us remember We Got To Get Out of This Place as a theme song.
