Trouble is that the French anthropologists could have contrived the whole thing to achieve fame.

Interestingly, the Christ legend is mirrored in this account of the Dogons:

The Nommo was crucified and resurrected and in the future will again visit the Earth, this time in human form. Later he will assume his amphibious form and will rule the world from the waters.

Glassman: I think Saudi Arabia is pretty upset about US taking Iraq...

Art: Absolutely. We are now less dependent on Saudi oil.

Glassman: BUT they have plenty of our money...
and they can use that...
consider that the 911 suicide bombers were almost ALL Saudi...

Art: What will they, or could they, do?

Glassman: China on the other hand? they have plenty of our money, and they are not so easily convinced...they are already making alot of "investments" in Venezuela...we considered that "home turf"...that is gonna hurt in the long run...the price will be very high indeed, and i think when the bill is tallied Bush will not be remebered so favorably in the history books...

Art: What high price? What can they do to us?

i like this part the best...

The DOGONs may presently be the last people on Earth to worship extra-terrestrial amphibians who landed in the Persian Gulf at the dawn of civilization, and whose presence can be detected in drawings and legends of the gods of ancient Babylonia, Egypt and Greece.

LOL whoever heard of an amphibian dog?

seriously tho, how are we ever get accepted into the Federation of Planets if we keep being so bad? [Big Grin]

I don't think we make the FP membership. Those UFOs always watching us are not doing it because we are such wonderful people.

They sure seem to be working on it right now. Saw some new solar panel energy project. Instead of converting photons to electricity it drives a hydrogen motor that generates power - suppose to be economically feasible.

solar energy should be stored as hydrogen...

i'm not sure which set up you saw, but, pressurizing the the hydrogen seems to be the expensive part...

i've been looking for anybody that's done any research in ionizing hydrogen gas...

like in neon signs...my searches get so many hits on the sun and and other stuff that i haven't found what i'm lookin' for...seen anything?

This looks very promising for solar power:

I'm sure the panels can be hosed.

Might be a good investment.
