AVEW NEWS: ActionView International, Inc. Announces Approval of World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) Rules for April 3rd Event

MatchFights Commissioner Granted Promoter's License for First Live Event at The Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah

MURRIETA, Calif., Mar 2, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- ActionView International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVEW) and its wholly-owned MatchFights subsidiary today announced that rules for the inaugural World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) live event scheduled for April 3, 2010 have been approved by the Utah Athletic Commission. MatchFights' Commissioner has also been granted a promoter's license for the State of Utah.

The April 3 event will be held at The Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah and is expected to be the first in a series of events held at this venue.

MatchFights delivers the most exciting brand of full contact fighting under its World Championship Full Contact banner. MatchFights events are broadcast live in high definition to a worldwide audience over the Internet and revenue is derived from pay-per-view buys.

"We are pleased that the Commission has given us a ninety-day trial for the WCFC rules, which allows us to move forward with our first event at The Rail on April 3rd," commented Gary Nerison, Chairman of ActionView International. "Utah is a location that we hope to establish as a strong market for the WCFC, and gaining this first recognition by the state athletic commission is an important step for our brand.

"During this ninety-day period, we expect to have at least two Salt Lake City events, including the April 3rd date, which will give us an opportunity to have a few WCFC-rules bouts and demonstrate to the Commission that our rules are just as safe as traditional MMA rules. The biggest rules change, where tap outs only end the round, not the fight, is designed to make WCFC bouts not only more exciting but also more competitive for other, non-MMA forms of martial arts. Our goal is to eventually have a fight league where all styles of fighting can compete against each other in a fair, safe, and exciting environment. We expect to announce additional details in the weeks leading up to the event, including the fight card, which we expect to have posted to the WCFC website later this week, and more information on the venue and how it will contribute to our staging a first class event."

The Rail is Salt Lake City's most unique gathering venue, with 42,000 square feet of floor space and a maximum capacity of over 3,500. Located just steps away from downtown, the Gateway, and Energy Solutions Arena, The Rail is a technology-based concept with full audio visual and recording capabilities. More information on the venue can be found at http://www.theraileventcenter.com/

AVEW News:
ActionView International, Inc. Announces First Main Bout for April 3rd World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) Event

MURRIETA, Calif., March 5, 2010
GLOBE NEWSWIRE
ActionView International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVEW) and its wholly-owned MatchFights subsidiary today announced one of the two main bouts schedule for the inaugural World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) live event on April 3, 2010 at The Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. One main bout will feature Jordan "They Call Me Mr." Smith, who appeared as a contestant on the recent Season 11 of UFC's "The Ultimate Fighter" show on Spike TV, fighting against "The Slim Shady of MMA" Nick Rossborough, who has also appeared on the "The Ultimate Fighter" show, in a middleweight contest.

A 30-second WCFC commercial will be in rotation on the Versus network, starting this weekend during the live WEC MMA event.

Jordan Smith, from Kaysville, Utah, fights out of the One Hit MMA gym in Clearfield, Utah. He comes into this fight with a professional record of 10 wins, 1 defeat and 1 draw. Smith started fighting shortly after his college football career ended because he needed another outlet for his anger and aggression and had always been interested in testing himself in the pure sport of fighting. He was an all-state middle linebacker and first team all-conference guard in high school and received an athletic scholarship to play football at McKendree University in Illinois.

In MMA, Smith won the Michigan Fight League light heavyweight belt as an amateur, the Max Fighting League Middleweight Belt in Yakima, Washington and the Throwdown Light-Heavyweight Belt as a professional. He credits the three main trainers at One Hit MMA gym, Aldo Oreggia, Jessie Pedilla, and Gustavo Rodriguez, for his success. Smith was a contestant on the recent Season 11 of UFC's "The Ultimate Fighter" show on Spike TV. He says that his experience on the show was great, and he is hungrier than ever to step back inside the cage for the WCFC event.

"Nick Rossborough is a tough dude and wants nothing more to finish me in highlight fashion, but with my training and experience, I plan on walking out of that cage with my hand held high," said Smith.

Nick Rossborough, who fights out of the Elite Performance gym in Salt Lake City, started his professional mixed martial arts career at the age of 23. When he first stepped into the cage to fight, he had minimal training and knowledge, and at the time he felt that just getting in the cage was the best way to start. After about two years of "on-the-job training," Rossborough decided that finding a MMA trainer was the only way he would excel in the sport. On his quest to find the best trainer in Utah, Nick came across one of the most well known names in the sport, Jeremy Horn. After only two years training with Jeremy, Nick has fought and beat many top-notch fighters, won championship belts including the PFC Middleweight title, and made an appearance on Season 7 of "The Ultimate Fighter" on Spike TV.

Rossborough, who comes into this contest with an 18-11 record, will be the first one to say how he is just beginning, and how he intends to continuously improve his game until he reaches his goal of becoming the best-known MMA fighter in his weight class. It will be no surprise to soon find Rossborough as a legitimate contender in the UFC.

"The Smith versus Rossborough bout is expected to be one of the most exciting fights of the evening, and we are looking forward to these warriors putting on a great show for our live and Internet audiences," said Johnny Riche, head of LBH Productions, which will produce the April 3rd event. "Having fighters of this caliber is going to help WCFC raise its profile and attract fans in the MMA community. We expect to announce the other main bout and the rest of the fight card next week."

Gary Nerison, Chairman of ActionView International, stated, "I also wanted to address the recent trading activity of ActionView International stock. We are pleased to have experienced an increase in activity and wanted to let our shareholders know that despite the stepped up trading volume, there has been no change to the number of issued and outstanding shares of the company's common stock since it was last publicly reported. We do expect to continue to generate interest as our April 3rd event approaches and we stage what is anticipated to be a very successful show."

Fight fans, fighters, promoters, trainers and ring girls are encouraged to visit the WCFC website at www.wcfc.com to set up a personal profile and join the first and only comprehensive content driven MMA web community dedicated to fighting. The site harnesses the power of social networks, allowing users to connect and share information about their favorite fighters, fights and events. A comprehensive marketing program is being implemented which is expected to result in the www.wcfc.com becoming the dominant fighting website in the world and draw consumers for WCFC events broadcast over the Internet.

Shareholders and anyone interested in monitoring the progress of the company are encouraged to subscribe to the electronic mailing list at www.actionviewint.com.

First, it should not be confused with traditional MMA. While WCFC is a fight product, there are several distinct changes to the format and structure that make WCFC events more fan oriented.

> No tap outs!

That’s right, WCFC fights to not allow tap outs or submissions. What this means is that fights either go the distance or end in a knockout. Fight fans are bored with long grappling matches—they want to see punches, kicks, elbows and knees. And knockouts. WCFC is the only product that consistently delivers what the fans want.

>Two minute rounds!

WCFC fights consist of seven, two-minute rounds. This ensures that fights are fast paced and filled with non-stop action.

> No judges!

WCFC is an “interactive” event. The fans vote online for the winners!

What this means is that the WCFC product is tailor made to appeal to mass fight audience. In particular, the Asian market where a more karate-style of fighting is preferred over the grappling/kickboxing style of the UFC
With me being a huge fan of mma i love the fact that here there a no tap outs and the judges are the fans what a great idea imo

Opportunities MatchFights will commence staging live, pay-per-view events on a monthly basis beginning January 2010.

Each event will have a live audience of at least 3,000 spectators.

Each event will be broadcast live over the Internet to a worldwide audience.

Following the event, each broadcast will be broken up into multiple short video clips and distributed as “free content” to social networking and free content sites in multiple countries, ensuring that the video content “lives forever.”

In late December 2009, MatchFights launched the world’s first and only social networking website specifically designed to attract fighters and fight fans in multiple countries. The www.wcfc.com website is a community where, for example, a fighter can go to access the latest news, interact with fans, post their recent fight videos and images, scout for upcoming events, and contact promoters. Fans can to learn more about their favorite fighters, watch them in action, vote for them for upcoming events, learn about upcoming events in their area, buy tickets for MMA events, and sign up to watch the Pay-Per-View events. Promoters can scout potential fighters, promote their events, sell tickets, post results, and attract sponsors and advertisers.

Our goal is to become the premier website where people can go to get the latest information and watch the very best in both free and PPV fight content. This will be coupled with a viral marketing campaign to target the company’s base demographic of 18-35 year old males

No Tap Outs, Two Minute Rounds, No Judges and Fans Vote Online For The Winners

With our Live, Internet Broadcast, Pay-Per-View product WCFC events are not restricted by television contracts or country borders. Anyone, anywhere, that has an internet connection can watch a WCFC event and participate through interactive interfaces.

We will generate revenues from paid event attendance, Internet broadcasted Pay Per View events, advertising, sponsorships, merchandise sales and brand name licensing. Market Potential Why the Internet? The Actionview Management Team What is World Champion Full Contact?

In particular, the Asian market where a more karate-style of fighting is preferred over the grappling/kickboxing style of the UFC. Click Here For Information On Our Team As a Pay-Per-View product, WCFC broadcasts its events live over the Internet in a high-definition quality streaming video feed.

What this means is that our events are not restricted by television contracts or country borders. Anyone, anywhere, that has an internet connection can watch a WCFC event. Live!

And, because we use the Internet to broadcast our events, we can make them completely interactive. Visitors to the site are provided with a list of potential fights—then they vote for who they want to see fight! The fighters with the most votes are put in the live events.

Then, if the fight goes the distance, the fans vote for the winner. The loser gets dropped from the pool and the winner lives to fight another day. Eventually you get down to the two remaining fighters and a championship match is set!
The sport of mixed martial arts is the fastest growing spectator sport in the world. From a pay-per-view perspective, MMA far outpaces any other PPV product including boxing.

Televised mixed martial arts will generate anywhere from one to four million viewers in the Unites States. Internationally, televised karate and MMA events will generate anywhere from 40-100 million viewers—for a single event. Pay-per-view UFC events, while highly promoted, generate upwards of one million buys at prices starting at $44.00. However, these events are restricted to domestic viewers and are limited to viewers that happened to subscribe to the cable or satellite provider that carries the fight.

Pay-per-view events held by the WCFC are broadcast all over the world via the internet, thus significantly expanding the potential viewership.

WCFC events start at only $4.95 (for certain international markets) and are typically less than $10 for most viewers. This price point brings in a much broader base of potential customers.

The majority of fight fans are males in the 18-35 demographic and nearly all of whom are highly computer literate. More so, they tend to rely on the internet for the bulk of their news, entertainment, and social networking.

When you factor in all that the WCFC brings to the market, we believe that very shortly, given the more exciting nature of the product and the superior price point and market exposure, WCFC events will eclipse the UFC in total viewership
