roadrunnerv8383 Member	posted January 06, 2005 10:25 last sale .0048, this is pretty sad that all advertising in the usa today has done so far. i was expecting atleast a small run to .0060 and also in the ad it only shows rcn. that tells me they have no carriers. just rcn. wasent january supposed to be the big launch? looks like another failed launch to me. im leaning towards selling my shares. been holding this thing long enough. anyone see this thing showing any sign of life anytime soon? this things gonna drop like a rock if no carriers are announced soon. Q problem right now is there isn't that new influz of money. People are getting into the hyped up stocks right now on hopes of making a fortune and didn't even budge them with the huge volumes. If the same people would have invested that much money into Q it would have flew off the wall and made them the big bucks. Buy Q Buy Q then buy more Q. Thats what makes a stock price go up. Supply and demand. Its alot easier to dry up our supply then those .0001-2 companies with enough suppy to give the entire worlds population plenty of shares. Not the only one.. but be careful here saying that. Everyone here gets very defensive the second you say something they don't like. Q is a long term investment. the fact that any day THAT pr could come out puts excitement into Q and when it doesn't show ppl get mad & run. right now its a 2 company war. logo will be on free cable & probably only 1 will make the major premium list, either Q or here!. it's much like SIRI & XM radio. xm went out first & went for subs while siri came out second & went for quality programming. because satillite radio appeals to the entire country there is room for 2. there might not be room for 2 premium g/l networks. here! has a 2 yrs head start & has gone for numbers via ppv but the programming lacks substance. Q has gone for programming that is entertaining, educational, interactive & informative. you don't see here! getting any of its shows being subed out to other stations. cable systems probably are very interested in signing a new g/l network but ratings are king. odds are neither Q or here! will sign on with a new carrier till 1 can prove it will get & hold good ratings. when Q on the move goes out to 150 stations & QLive is in seatle it has the chance to prove it can hold ratings. here! said in that article from the 4th it did $15 million last yr. it was on 2 satillite systems all yr, available to 20 million homes. i'd say $15 million is not a good number. i'd say it leaves the door wide open for Q but first it has to prove its programming choices. its also why i say they need to give planetout its own show every week. it will greatly increase the pressure for cable systems to pick Q over here! Mistake can happen if you run a business. Why dont we just see the positive side of it instead tearing it a part. Why put out a "Nationwide" ad if most people cannot receive the signal. They are not that stupid. Probably later today there will be a pr about additional carriers/coverage areas.
