If you want a great stock pick, an
internet company actually making money, 1MAGE software (ISOL) is a real company. On their fairly decent web page,
www.1mage.com, you will find that they have real products that solve real problems and last quarter they posted a real profit of $0.05 per share (check
yahoo). You say what? Unheard of in today's race for most companies to pour out internet red. What can I say? They have a suite of products that stores, indexes, and dishes out documents, on a company wide basis, into a
shared collaborative user community.
If you've ever tried to bring together massive (and I mean massive, I love the photo of the guy standing by the warehouse of paper) amounts of documents, from a variety of sources
and formats, and have them easily accessible and usable, you will instantly appreciate the value of these products. The kicker is they're also heavy into Linux, so they can sell really low-ball servers into a super
cheap backbone. Well, that's what I think, send me any comments regarding your own thoughts.
