Although, after the brief chat we all had after the vote count, seems to have sparked some interest with some of the others.

"...will be televised live on the Q Television Network in at least 150 USA and international markets..." I think thee are talking about the DVDs. If we were going to be in 150 markets, we wouldn't hear it like this. It is still more money for Q.

What are "the DVD's" you are talking about? I know there are DVD's of the games in Europe, but the games in Chicago next year haven't happened yet... there are no DVD's of it. And besides airing DVD recordings of an event does not justify using language like "will be televised live." IMHO they either know something that we don't, or they're just reporting things that are fanciful at this point.

If I remember correctly, Q had a PR stating the Gay Games would be on the air free, but I don't remember the details. I'm 99% sure that's what that story is about. Someone may want to dig up that PR to refresh our memories.

Here is the copy I sent out to over 150 people: -------------- Hey guys. I need your help. There is a new cable channel needs support to make it, and it is the only true televised voice of the gay community. Please join me in supporting the efforts of this new channel by requesting the channel in your area. Please take 30 seconds and fill out the form at the link below, and send this IM to everyone on your buddy list.
The Q Television Network is a national television network dedicated to the needs of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and even straight communities. We proudly feature unique in-house productions such as Q on the Move, On Q Live!, and Women on Women.
I have heard back from 28 people so far who have sent in the request and copied the IM into a new IM which they sent to their buddy list. They each have over 100 people on their lists (who doesn’t these days). At least 3,000 have gotten this IM so far, just from the numbers I can confirm. Most have done what I asked, just because I asked (I never send out info to be forwarded, so they knew there must have been a good reason). Others asked me what it was all about. Some I explained the investment potential, and some I got more into what Frank and Q are trying to do. I also sent the message to several people that are well connected in the gay community, and they enthusiastically told me they would be able to help get the word out in a big way.
I really think this can be the digital way of having the same success as the “I want my MTV” campaign. I deliberately left out the QBID stock symbol, and any reference to inviting because, as a cause, this can spread like wild fire, as an investment ploy, it will likely be ignored as spam. I highly recommend following up with individual people on your list, so you can be sure it wasn’t ignored. It will also create an opportunity for you to educate more people about this new channel.
I really want to get some feedback from you guys. There are many smart people that post here, and I feel your ideas and support on this campaign will be very valuable.
Even if you do nothing, you may soon get IMed this plea for support from someone you know, just because it will spread so far.

I am also thinking about making up some kind of business cards with “I want my QTV” on one side, and a description of the channel and a compelling plea for support on the back with the URL to the request site. Then I’ll make some trips to gay clubs in NJ and PA and hand them out. What do you guys think about this? Anyone want to help out? I figure I can get out several thousand cards easy. I'm sure some people I meet will be glad to take 5 or 10 and give them out to people they know.

Kevin, you rock. You gave me an idea too. I added Q's website to the Stumbleupon community (it had never been added before!) (And by the way I think it's really cool that Q updated it.)
For those of you who don't know about Stumbleupon.com, it's a free service that put's a toobar in your browser and let's you "stumble" from one cool website to another based on the opinions and submissions of thousands of other Stumbleupon users. Ever wonder how you could possibly find all the cool websites amidst the millions and millions of webpages on the internet? By leveraging an army of websurfers! That's what Stumbleupon.com is. So now Q's website will be "stumbleuponed." Cool eh?

My idea costs a little bit more, but I want to see TV ads like the ones that started the MTV generation. An "I want my Q-T-V" commercial. You guys remember that "I want my MTV" song from the original MTV ads don't you? Pretty catchy stuff if I still remember them (as I generally hate and ignore more TV ads).

Many of you want this to pay off big for you. Some even would like to retire early because of this great opportunity.
That is great, and I know it will do great things for many people.
What if some of us put work into this in proportion with the return we would like back, even if only a small handful of us?
I don’t just mean DD and posting on here. That is great and I am so grateful for all those who put in time to benefit others on this thread. I’m talking about direct effort that will positively affect the success of this company.
I think we have a very unique opportunity here. There isn’t another pink I’ve seen where we could actually make a difference. With oil pinks, what could we do? Buy a shovel and help dig? Maybe a gold or silver mining operation – we could fly in with a flashlight and a metal detector.
The success of Q rides on the awareness of the gay community of Q, and the demand for the channel.
I think we truly can make a difference. I have posted before about some plans I have had in the past. Now I have a better feel for how we can really do something big here. What do you guys think?
Maybe we can post ideas, and post follow-up success stories? I’m even game for forming a group of people that actively work together, exchange contact information, and coordinate efforts.
Think of it this way. If you were on a reality TV show where if you won you would get $1,000,000 cash what would you be willing to do to win? I think many here stand to make that, and much and more if this thing is successful.
Who is with me? Am I on to something? Am I nuts? Let me know either way!

That is cool. You will need a PPS of just over .18 to pull that off. It couldn't hurt to help, that will still be a challenge.
