Im looking to take a vacation for a week or two this March or April. Looking for something perfect for a single man 27 years old. Not sure if ill go with someone or alone and meet someone along the way. Outside the U.S. is where im headed so far.

Looking for something $1100 or less. Suggestions? Ive thought about Prague, Bankok, you know places like that. Who knows maybe Iceland for some hotties. Might as well enjoy it before I get married if that ever happens...barf

that depends on your "type"...
i hear Vegas has alot of interesting scenery, but you won't get much intellectual converstation like in Prague. [Razz]

i think Iceland is still the most literate country in the world. you could do alot worse.

Bangkok can be life-changing, and i don't mean that in a good way.

If you are more into liesure, climate, and such, maybe Costa Rica.

You ever think about the Philipines? The rates for a motel and food is cheap and you may find a little company if you start at a chat room at cherryblossom.com and she can meet you at the airport.A "guide" is cheap and they will be even cheaper if you let them know they can stay with you and you feed them as well.I think a lobster dinner was around 5 bucks.Or if you book a room in Cebu City some motels can have a cab meet you at the airport.Do a search for visit Philipines and read all the info.A friend was getting me interested in going but my situation changed. Watch out for the t/v's or ladyboys.

au contraire....

I cannot assure success from personal experience, as I have not myself been to Costa Rica, but I have had several friends who make it a yearly destination and assure me it has more than an abundant supply of "social wildlife TOO, one of whom has resettled there permanently and sends infrequent reports to that effect.

Thanks guys, well Im probably not going to go to the phillipines as ive had plenty of that experience with phillipinas in korea when i did a tour over there.

only wildlife im looking for is in the bedroom from a hot foreign lady and she doesnt even have to speak english..the language of love is universal lol

Of the places you mentioned, none of which the Munchkin Man has visited, the Munchkin Man would vote for Bangkok, if for no other reason than the fact that the Munchkin Man loves Thai food. The Munchkin Man also understands it is a good place to go for "hotties."

If you change your mind and decide to take your vacation inside the United States, the Munchkin Man votes for Las Vegas, hands down. It has the best Thai restaurant outside of Las Vegas, namely the Lotus of Siam:

Another country the Munchkin Man has always wanted to visit is Germany. Every time the Munchkin Man watches one of these old World War II movies which feature Germany, the Munchkin Man gets this feeling of deja vu, as if the Munchkin Man might have lived there in a previous life.

When the Munchkin Man was a little boy, the Munchkin Man heard his mother humming the tune of the famous German song Lili Marlene. The Munchkin Man interrupted by finishing humming the tune.

This frightened the Munchkin Man's mother because she didn't remember humming the tune before. She asked the Munchkin Man where he had heard that tune. The Munchkin Man didn't know.
