For all you newbie’s and somewhat seasoned traders

This is the message I gave to a new trader. If I can help, let me know.

I can give you instructions on HOW to do this trade. The real caveat is finding the underlying equity to trade the option on. I would find a particular stock you like then see if it trades options. I can’t begin to tell you how much experience I have at this so it’s difficult to explain how a stock is undervalued, trades at cash, rev., or book value. Low float, high insiders holding, or institutions buying. Low share count, history of dilution, market maker manipulation. It took me years, so you must put in the dues. But when you do, you will start to win every time. There are WAY too many reasons to not buy a stock, but all of my criteria have to line up to buy one. It's a fool’s game if you’re not a professional, or educated to the maximum potential. It’s no different than being a doctor at this particular skill level. PM me if you want some advise.

anyone willing to help novice investors to not make naive or uninformed mistakes is to be commended not ridiculed. this advice is on an open forum, if it is seen,at that point, as erroraneous or misleading then say something. until then I agree "suck it".

I must be glib. Not at all like the references you make. You’re a spectator, I’m a professional. Just thought I could help a few inadequacies in this credit driven downturn.

P.S. Wikipedia has a thesaurus for words that you might not understand.

Crazytrade,LoL, I love to see spectators make egregious comments, but make no stock picks. What would you invest in? What stocks? Please, we are all listening.

No offense Invester but "stock picks" to me is no different then a stock tip and i am wary when people make such tips as usually there is a conflict of interest.

People should be encouraged to do their own due diligence and not follow someone's "stock picks/tips".

I've got nothing to do at the moment so what the hell. My advice take it or leave it and in no way am I trying to be insulting just an observation if you care to keep reading. I've been reading posts for a few years or more here and once in awhile I post a stock I think will give me a return. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose (sometimes big) I find it enjoyable either way and I enjoy reading most threads and following the progress. Yes I even follow your progress through your threads and see how your doing. You seem to be a very intelligent and knowledgable on the market which is great but but being slightly more humble wouldn't hurt. You would probably get more replys to your posts and and certainly more positive feedback than you have before. There was a guy here a couple years back Repoman ( I often wonder what happened to him, if anyone knows maybe they can satisfy my curiousity) at any rate from my observations he was always cutting people down and he had that I'm the best attitude times 10. I didn't get the feeling he had many friends here. I'll admit it to everyone reading this right now I was hoping he would fail just to knock him down a few notches. That said.... people that read your posts know if your right or wrong on a pick. I'm getting sentimental in my midlife and don't want to look at you the same way I did repoman. I would enjoy reading your plays and wins but with a little less attitude. Good luck in the market.

I haven't been touting my own greatness at picking stocks so i don't know why you expect picks from. Just more posts by you about how superior you think you are. If you can make great picks great, if not great, you don't need to continue to tell everyone how great you think you are. that was my only point. this board isn't about touting what great skill you think you have. at least, i didn't think it was.

why?

seems like an honest difference of opinions to me...

I might move it to off-topics, though...

How would you feel about that, Ace?

Well I must say most "hot stock picks" in these forums have proved lackluster at best.
Not all...but the vast majority by far.
Even the infamous Stockst_r would have to agree.
If I wanted to waste my time to cut & paste all
the picks in here that went south I'd be up for
days on end and then some.
However, hype DOES have its place and has
proved to be quite beneficial.
Thats right.
It helps me to see which picks to AVOID!
And for the most part I'm not disappointed,,,lol
'nough said..

[Eek!]

j/k invester [Big Grin]

I've been more into value investing on pincher set ups so mixing the fundamentals with the TA. Anyway, if I can help in any way I would, I'm not a broker, I leave much on the table after I sell (recentlty played GETA for a pinch and sold at around .08, today it hit .2). There is so much manipulation out there from all those "we just wanna helpers" and other groups. Screen the filings and do the due diligence. Learn from your own mistakes and those of others. And if ya can't afford to lose it!? Don't use it!
