Ace of Spades was mentioning in another thread you can get in premarket orders. My question is how do you do that. I thought you had to wait for the market to open before you could buy. Does anyone know if you can do that with Ameritrade?

start checking out the Nasdaq top 400 in microcaptrade at 8:00 am, at the top of the top 400 you can uncheck the pink sheet and otc boxes so you just see the nasdaq stocks. Sort them by most trades, and thats how you will know what will move at open and through out the day.

Ace, Thanks for the info. I had a pick past week OCTL that the chart looked great and I felt it was at it's bottom. Before I could get my order in it was up I think 41 cents before it opened. I still managed to get in and out for a $300.00 gain but wish I could have found it the day before and got in cheaper. It wouldn't have mattered since it was a pink though with the premarket I couldn't have gotten in anyhow. Thank you for the reply and I appreciate the information.
