You don't "get them for free" with Scottrade? I thought some people actually "opened" accounts with Scott just for the L2's..but use other brokers for there trade fees...hmmmm

ya, Scottie offers two things: "L2" for $10/mo, and something else that "shows the full book," I forget what they call it--sounds like L1.5 with "montage" vs what we think of as L2... their full monty is $15/mo...BUT the three bigs only--no Canadian, not OTCBB, no pinks...

I'm afraid my portfolio value is not high enough for the Scottrade Elite. Can not quite make the $25,000 minimum.... Yes I do get the free regular screens but they do not show all the available depth that some of you have available..

Ok..need to ask for clarification purposes: When looking at L2's, what exactly does the size mean. For example, Nite is on the ask and the size is 5000? What does that mean? How many shares does that represent? Example #2...UBSS is on the bid and the size is 50. How many shares does that represent? Sounds like a silly question, but you'd be amazed at how many different answers I've gotten, hence why I'd like to clarify it. Thanks alot!
