Is there really such a thing as market maker shakes? Sometimes people say things like "big MM shake!" and I wonder what makes them say that, just because the stock price goes down?
Because when you place a buy order between the bid and the ask, the bid jumps up to your buy price (unless someone bids higher), the same is true for sell orders, when the limit price is between the bid and the ask, the ask will lower to your limit price, again unless someone asks less money than your limit price. When people say MM shake on little volume, couldnt it be that people just cancel their buy orders making the bid line up fall apart? What constitutes as a Market Maker shake in that case?

Thanks

Maybe you'd like to think that is right and true - it all does not unfold truthfully as it should.

I've had sell orders in for up to 21 days when my bid or ask was far surpassed and the broker/MM did not allow me to have my fill. The accumulation of this happened about 13 times and amounted to $50,000.00

Now you tell me what you would do??? This happened with two different brokers. I went to see attorneys [One used to work for the SEC] and was told :"It will come back that YOU HAVE TO GO TO ARBITRATION [contract you signed with the broker].

Now I will NEVER, EVER go through arbitration, simply because I already full well know that ARBITRATION is NOT for U!! It is to sway to the 'SYSTEM's SIDE'. Why else would you have to agree to it???

Otherwise you don't trade!!!
Now READ THE BOOK: WALLSTREET VS AMERICA by:WEISS.
This confirmed everything I learned the HARD way.

I have my own way of looking at this - This is not the end of the line - for I will REAP in the end of my days when we all have to face JUDGEMENT DAY.

Thank ZZepman for posting this - I love it!!

Go to:' businessjive' I am delighted to see this man's work on this. It is factual, true to the 'nth degree.
WHY? because I have experienced this to the tune of about a total of $50,000.00 AND I WANT MY MONEY!!! with interest and punitive damages.!!

I have written letters, I have gone to see ATTY.'s I've made copies on copies and developed an organized portfolio and files of all the damages. I caught all this as a new trader and I K-N-O-W it all for all my recorded facts.

IT IS TRUE
'THEY' ARE TRYING TO HIDE IT ALL UNDER THE CARPET.
I FULLY BELIEVE THAT THE T-R-U-T-H - LIKE WHIP CREAM - WILL FLOAT TO THE TOP ONE SAY AND IT CANNOT COME SOON ENOUGH.
Sincerly and in Truth,
Lucky
