Look as much as we hate to admit it, there are memebers here who for no reason hype up stocks to get everyone to buy in, and they bought in days before, and wait for the run up and dump there shares on these buyers they pumped it to.
Who still actively posts on this messageboard who is not a scammer, and is posting to help others? I know questsolver...who else? it's annoying I have a 2 star rating because I actually make critical analysis to people who pump stocks for no reason. Thanks

when we catch frontloading PnD scamsters? they're gone...
stars? nobody who "knows anything" cares; I disabled mine precisely because of the PnD crowd--I'd bust em, and their gang members would hit my ratings. For awhile I was taking ratings by "appointment only," lol...i.e., would turn on ratings at a specific time, agreed via PM...after awhile, the whole thing just seemed silly... in other words? don't fret about it--post well, and peeps will begin to figure it out...

stock, no one cares about the rating. At least the seasoned ones don't. They know the first time they catch someone pumping, their rating is going down. If anything, the better people here have the lowest scores. They're watching out for everyone and the pumpers trash their score.
There are a number of great minds on here. I can list some without even going back to refresh my memory. The ones I think have contributed greatly to the dd of stocks they pick or jump on board with are: Repoman75 Peaser1 Superman7 JoeMillion J_U_ICE bond006 maumee river rat
These are only a few of the ones who I never see 'pump' a stock. I can't promise they've never done it, I just haven't seen it happen. Most have had some great picks. I have no idea what their win/loss record is, but have made money on them. All of us seem to pump the stock we have the most in. If you call pumping rooting for the stock you have a vested interest in. I don't see this as pumping, as much as riding the wave of excitement. You can do a little of your own research and fairly easily see some of the pumpers. Look at some of their predictions early in a thread where they are claiming the stock will go to a $ from where it is at the time they make such a claim and where it is now. You'll learn those who make some pretty close guestimations based on fact. Allstocks has some great minds. I don't even read or post on other boards. I love this one and it will take a little time to learn from some of the better people on here. No matter who is pumping or giving facts, check it out first hand before making your decision. Once you lay money out there, you can't go back and blame anyone for their mistake since they didn't hold a gun to your head. If you make out good on someone's advice, let them know. Many work hard to help you just about as much as they want to help themselves. You'll discover who they are.

So far in reading this thread it seems that most are picking someone who has helped them catch the runners and therefore they made money. I'm going to take the question literally meaning who has provided the best advice. This doesn't always mean who catches the runners because a good Pump and Dump artist can help you make money at other's expense. I'm not saying that anyone mentioned here fits that category just that others who I feel have taught me alot have been left out.
So here are a few that went out of there way to help a newbie like me learn how to decipher what a real Pump and Dump is and how to maximize my gains and limit my losses. Some no longer are here but that's another story.
TEX, BUYTEX at that time, gave me insight that will be with me as long as I am able to trade. He never told me I should buy one single stock, never told me to sell a single stock but was instrumental in me learning how to do my own DD and make my own decisions. For this I will always be gratefull.
LiL, started many threads that were educational in nature and for those who care, those threads are still there for everyone to learn from. One thing that stood out in my mind was how she always said that teaching the newbies was a good thing because in time they would learn to find stocks that others had overlooked. She was right we are all individuals and look at things from our own perspectives. These individual perspectives are what allow some to see what others miss. Newbies are the lifeblood that keep every stock alive without them stocks would stagnant because longs would hold and those who had a different vision would only buy to sell quickly. Yes, it's the newbies that learn and don't lose everything that will tell others about the good experience they had and money that they made that will draw more potential traders/investors into this arena and eventually make everyone money. Those who become bagholders will swear off dealing with Pennies and tell everyone else to stay away.
There are many others that are not particularly popular but that do provide good insight into a stock's potential. Purl Girl does her DD and gets us to think and maybe look a little closer at what we are doing. She is definately the Pump and Dumpers bane.
Those that have been mentioned like Juice and Matto and other's well they have a following and for good reason.
The people that get you to think and go that extra step in your DD are the ones you should listen to. Not that you should buy because they like a stock but so that you have stocks to look into, to do your own DD. These thought provoking people are the ones you should follow around like a puppy dog becauase they impart pieces of knowledge all along the way for you to pick up on.

jmho... but if there's ANYONE on this board who seems to always lay it out straight, ALWAYS posts major DD (without corresponding personal opinions), and always responds to PMs and always seems to be on the 'straight and narrow', never pumping and never bashing... that dude is J_U_ICE.
the only thing i would say about him (sarcasm in full mode here)... is that whenever i try and spell his name, with all the capital letters and 'underscores' (which require the shift key combo)... damn!!! it's so hard to type your name dude!!!!! :-)
keep it comin'... no pressure, but the whole board and beyond relies on you. imho, you are the leader. you're motivation is inspiring and to be looked up to.
be good.

This board is the most hostile toward pumpers and bashers. It is also one that has the most friendly people I have seen. Thay are also very interested in helping each other and newbies make money and LEARN.
I love this place!

TEX- I talk reality. I have the guts to talk about what is right and unpopular. Take no pills, except vitamins occasionally and drink a lot of water. Make home made soups and love corn bread with lots of honey and butter. Love green tea and papaya and melons, strawberries and blackberries. Pretty healthful - Don't go to DR.'S FOR ABOUT 15 YRS.
The Holy Bible is my wisdom and my life. BEST PILL ever written. In fact I thank G-D for that prescription every day.
AND HOW ARE YOU ? HOPE ALL IS WELL! Lucky

blue in MI does his homework and makes rational posts. Good DD hound and pretty straight forward.
Dustoff prolly the best success rate of all posters on the board for his short + longer term plays. One of the better DD hounds around.(He likes getting PM's too!)

If your a total newbie looking for a starting point, then Machiavelli gets my vote, if your looking to jump in feet first then anyone listed in this thread is a good choice, but never blame anyone but yourself if you jump on a rock. Everyone listed here will tell you, do your own research before you buy, that's like the Golden Rule. Best of luck, jp.
Oh, by the way, i stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night, lol. jp
