hey this is a simple question..but i didnt know where the best place to post is.
I am using TDWaterhouse for trades, sometimes very frequently of late, BUT the comission for trades is killing me sometimes. Anyone know of any brokers i could use LIKE tdwaterhouse WITH the same security and safety but for comissions MORE reasonable around 10-15$ maybe OR less

international... i dont think so... only stocks traded in US exchanges... if your going to trade international markets the commissions will probably be the same as TD Waterhouse... im not sure which brokerages are for international but you can inquire with a brokerage a friend of mine uses.. she says there great:
There are canadians that can be found at Allstocks and they could tell you for certain what brokers they use. I understand that Scottrade has offices in Canada, if that is any help.

hey, I'm Canadian too and also with TD. The commission on some of my trades are $400-$500 dollars. Almost every other online broker for Canada has the same garbage commission rate. The only online broker that has good rates is Ameritrade Canada. It's 10.99 for unlimited shares. I'm gonna switch over to them when I have a chance to fill out the paper work to make an account. Check them out.
Good luck to ya
