If you were new to trading online and you had 2000 dollars to invest, which one of these micro stocks would you put your money in, and why ?

well, if you could sit * your computer screen all day, and watch every second. I'm sure sto*kster will release 1 or 2 more picks tomorrow A.M. if you like the pump and dump. That would be short term of course. Long term, i couldn't help you. RSHN maybe. idk
glta in the am.

If it is too long, too cumbersome, too bothersome, too boring, I will give you an option:
Send me a check for $2,000. I will cash it and put it in my savings account. In return I will give you a minimum of 5 stocks to cheer for. After a month you will be exausted, and see them go up and down cheering when they do well, and getting pissed when they don't do well. After a months time I will return $1,000 to you. That is the cheapest tuition you will ever pay for learning the joy and suffering of playing the pennies.

Thank you both for your input. I have a small investment of 500 dollars of ADVC at .0008. For the last month or two I have faithfully read the post each and everyday about PAIM,JPHC,RSHN...........etc. It gets very confusing, because ther are so many different stocks to choose from. I don't want to spread myself to thin and buy 500000 of this and 500000 of that. What I was looking at doing was trying to buy one stock, stay with it and make some good gains.

And thats the smart way to do it. Spread it to thin and you can't make any $. Too thick and you could lose it pretty quick, although you said long term, 1 month is a while for pennies. And wow, you have done very well in ADVC. Congrats and good luck on your next one.

I am really interested in the XSNX. I have been reading about it today. I think that company actually has a future. It's over a dollar a share but It might pay off percentage wise as well as any penny.

ELD, I usually dont give advice on what stocks to buy, just post solid info that helps make decisions.....BUT I would stick a 1000 or more into PBLS...read the thread, and do some DD and ask questions if you need to....Great company not as volatile right now as the others but once it gets moving it will be moving up real hard real fast....
Also like will said read that general investing forum and paper trade for a while if you havent already.I personally think thats the best answer a Newbie can get...
Also with 2000 dollars and what you are trying to do hold for the intermediate term, be careful of stocks with a reputation of R/S, you could get burned bad!!

I don't know. I feel like I'm in unchartered waters everyday. I get nervous when it goes down, usually around noon everyday, but it comes back up at the end of each day. I hope this can get to .02 within the next two weeks. I would sell at .02. Though I watched AXIGE climb to .08 from .0010

If I was a newbie and had 2K, I would not invest in any micropenny. You gotta know what you're doing first, from knowledge, paper trading, charting, DD, L2's, Intraday....all of it.
I highly recommend paper trading and reading and learning. Trust me, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE ANOTHER ONE. Right guys? There is ALWAYS another runner.

Excuse me for saying, but sometime the worse thing that can happen to us is have success, and not know why. I won't call it beginners luck, because I have no idea how you arrived at the diecision to purchase ADVC, or whatever stock it is. I guarantee you, if all you have is confidence to throw your money in this stock and that stock, and don't know why you did or are doing it, you will lose your profits from ADVC, and your $2,000. The cards are stacked against you. Go do yourself a HUGE favor, and go read all the information on hat thread. Don't only read it, understand and comprehend it. Then you won't have to ask anybody anything, and you'll at least have a fighting 50/50 chance then.

You know it, Jelly. I can't tell you how many I missed being part of for various reasons. The only thing that keeps me here is exactly that, "THERE WILL ALWAYS BE ANOTHER ONE."

...and what if that recomendation turned out to be like one stock I have been watching that was recommended at .055 / .06, and did nothing but go down, and is currently trading at .01 / .015 ????
Again, excuse me for saying it, but since you told how you came to purchase ADVC, I will say, "you got lucky". You happen to catch a good one at a good time, when all these miserably diluted mini-micro pennies are enjoying a phenomena that doesn't ocurr with any great degree of regularity. I can only encourage you to learn, and forget following other people's picks.

if you've made money on anything, take your profits and sell. You are up but that money isn't realized until you sell. The only thing worse than a stock going down, is a stock that goes up and then you watch it go down, never enjoying the money you have made.

I wouldnt necessarily sell every stock/share when it makes a profit.. you are missing the potentional for more profits.. two enemies that we all have in this trading game ... FEAR and GREED ... and it looks like FEAR has you by the cajones lol .. anyways if you so afraid of a stock about to go down after it made some profit.. dont sell all your positions... sell half and keep half still in the stock.. so that way if you were wrong and it keeps going up you make more profits but not risk as much as when you had more shares... old saying: Let your profits ride and Limit your Losses ...
P.S. Cash is a position too (in other words you don't have to trade everyday).. be patient...

I learned a valuable lesson today, take some profits when you can and ride the free shares to the end. Should of kicked a field goal, instead of trying to score a touchdown. I'm going to write a book called " THE MICRO CAP DIET " ,lose 10 pounds of water weight in 5 minutes watching your stock sink faster then the TITANIC.
