I just opened account online and an accout rep called to verfiy my info? I asked if I initially can trade if i send enough money for trade and just commission,(which is under $500), and not $500. he/she said "I need full amount of $500 to place intial trade. My point is this my account is opened, I can explore and utilize all options as someone who has sent $500. Do you think I can still send enough to place trade and commission and not have problems with brokerage? Thanks!

Jbill "I have opened the account online and didn't even send $500 yet." So why would they open my account? as of now my account is fully functional, I think if i sent less then $500 i probably could still place a trade if paid the amount for trade and commission.
