Alright...

Lets say I bought 5000 shares of xxx at .16. If I buy 5000 shares of xxx at .08, will my average pps go down to .12? If it does, technicaly do I get more money? Because the 5000 at .16 are now .12, so wouldnt they be worth more?

Also does this apply to any broker?

TIA

answer... dont average down.. especially with penny stocks and much less micro penny stocks... buy on the dips and sell on the rallies..

Sounds like you need to learn Technical analysis.. consider learning candlestick charts and oscillators (RSI, OBV, MACD etc.) ... if you want to buy it on it's dip... buy it when it's oversold which most oscillators especially the RSI can tell you when it's been oversold...

I wouldnt average down either. But to answer your question, of course if you buy at a lower price your average price would be less. But your first buy at .16 always remains the same. Average means a middle number. Its not a number that you actually paid, but an average.
