hello allstocks, i have been visiting this site for a few weeks now, and just finally registered. there is a lot of advice on broker dealers floating around, and so far it seems like choicetrade.com is the one to go with (since i dont have $5000 for freetrades.com). i was wondering if anyone has any insight on buyandhold.com? bear with me and just ignore the name for now ok? they have 2 accounts that seem interesting. one is $6.99/month, includes 2 trades and each additional trade is $2.99. the other type is $14.99/month, includes unlimited trades. for day traders this probably is no good because the trades are "window trades", and the windows are 10-11, 12:30-1:30, and 3-4, but for swingers it seems alright. real time trades outside of the windows are $15 a pop, which is not very attractive. i also didnt see anything about additional charges for stocks under $1. any advice would be greatly appreciated, and if there is a reason noone here uses this, PLEASE let me know. thanks in advance

forget buyandhold.com Penny Man... go with Choicetrade.com ... no minimum to open a account.. you can buy one share of stock or 1 million shares of a stock.. will always be only $5 for commission... just build up your account little by little ... start with let's say $500 and move it on up to the east side lol...
