How to pay for tax? Does the broker automatically does it for you? (I have ChoiceTrade) If I invested $1000 on ZZZ and made $500 ($1500 - $500 = $500), I pay tax on the $500 I made, or the full amount $1500?

You would pay tax on your capital gain (or loss).. in this case the $500 not the whole $1,500 if im correct... anyways taxes give me a headache.. here is a site that will help you out... www.fairmark.com ....
As for being a newbie and being lazy about learning about trading.. get off the couch go to the bookstore and pick up a book or 2 on trading lol .. the book i recommend is below..
