ahha, i didnt know the openning bell too untill this morning when i went to finance.yahoo.com they show u the time

took me like 1 hr to use search engine, but cant find. luckly yahoo showed up lol

ok,now i have another question?

bell: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST

Is there a break in between?

this is silly, i got into stock just few days ago because i liked this HK series about stock "Greed of Men" (very old Series 1990s maybe 1980s) lol. when watching it, they always have openin bell at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (break for lunch or research) then 1:00pm they start again. so thats y i asked this question to see if the series i saw is the same in real life.

no breaks but stock trading tends to slow down between 12 and 1pm.. not going up or down in price much.. my guess is cause most stock brokers go to lunch at that time.. so less people on the phone trading or computer etc.. at least thats what i see when i walk by Wall Street around that time... the brokers out eating lunch...
