I'm about to sign up for freetrade.com. I know Ameritrade allows you buy stock at 4 decimals max so I'm assuming freetrade does too. Can anyone confirm this for me. And has anyone used quotestream? Its only 5 bucks and looks pretty promising. thanks

Yes, freetrade works fine with four decimal place trades. The only issue I have with them is that they don't offer level II for pinks. I still use the service, but had to cancel the realtime level II service. I'm using AlphaTrades for level II.

Do you like AlphaTrades, and how much is it? I know they dont have alpha trades but I like how it ties into the account.

Alphatrade is costing me $43 bucks/month. After six months, I get the 7th month for free. The service over all is pretty good. In the last four months, I've had problems with the service being down for a short period of times (< 45 min) about 3 times (of course it's seems to always be at market open and when I’m trying to flip a stock). In general, I'm happy with the service. I really wish they would enhance their product to support data feeds to PDA devices. Esignal ( http://www.esignal.com) provides quotes for PDAs. They have a very nice product, except it cost twice what I’m paying for Alphatrades. I tried their service with PDA support with my Treo 600 and it proved very useful when I happen to be out and about. The only downside to Alphatrade for me is that I don't care for the multiple windows that are required to view multiple stocks simultaneously. Unlike, Freetrade that has a command center that neatly consolidates all of your stocks’ information into one dialog box. As stated, Freetrades achilles heal is that they don't level II for pinks). At one point, I was signed up for both services, but eventually decided to drop Freetrade's real-time quotes. For people not trading pink sheet stocks that are using Freetrade, I found the service to be reliable and cost was very reasonable ($14.99!!!!!) Finally, to be totally fair and unbiased I should point out that AlphaTrades does provide many advanced stock analysis and charting tool with their service that the others don’t provide.
