What does a Reverse Stock Split mean?

If for example there was a 10 to 1 reverse split and the stock was trading at 1.00.

For every 10 shares you had you would get 1 of the new shares and it should be worth 10.

Most times after the reverse split the stock sells off or trades down.

You answered the question I had come here to ask - I'm worried about my ICGE holdings... going to consider selling prior to the reverse if stocks normally sell off after.
