If a stock symbol changes from GOMD to GOMDE, does that mean bankruptcy? I saw nothing in news to state a name change, or a filing.
Anyone know what this means?
Thanks.

the Q is for bankrupcy. The E just means they are late in an SEC filing. These are somewhat common and typically not a reason to be worried, as long as the company announced before hand they were going to be late, and give an estimated time of when they will be caught back up.

FOr example, FGWC just got an E today, and this is simply because they haven't filed their quarterly and annual report on time and have to redo all of their books since 2002, due to problems with an old accountant.

But they notified shareholders of this, and said another week or so and they should be able to file, which the E will get dropped from the symbol again.

Hope that helps!
