Ticker just changed from PINR. The old message thread on this stock is here:

I'm holding but would advise any potential investors to know what they are getting into with a stock like this.

NEWS OUT

Mike the Pike Productions (MIKP.PK) Catches New Ticker Symbol; Posts "Fish" Projections
MTP PRODS Releases 'Fish in a Barrel' Worldwide Projections; Company Update

FORT WAYNE, IN--(Marketwire - 08/06/09) - Mike The Pike Productions, Inc. (Pinksheets:PINR - News) (Pinksheets:MIKP - News) CEO/President, Mark B. Newbauer, announces a ticker symbol change from PINR.pk to MIKP.pk which took effect earlier this week as a part of the company's branding strategy. "This was an important move for us," says Newbauer. "The ticker symbol is just that -- a symbol. The transition from PINR to MIKP allows the company to be embraced without any preconceived notions. Mike the Pike Productions has the wheels up to fly in creating quality entertainment worldwide. Our projects will be profitable for both our shareholders and our private partners. The company's focus is on Feature Film Development and Production, Literary Acquisitions, and our Concert and Event Promotions division. Pine Ridge Holdings is no more... and its business has not been, nor will be a part of the MTP business model."

MTP's Concert and Events promotion kicked off with a bang this year as they approach the date for their August 29th show at www.parkviewfield.com featuring Good Charlotte, Metro Station, Cobra Starship and others. MTP's Ft. Wayne Promotions Associate, Jake Slater, says "Target market (teens) is responding very well to the show and we feel this will be a big win for everyone involved, including our sponsors for the show such as 97.3 WMEE, Anytime Fitness and Club Soda, among others. We are in planning stages for our second show which was announced last week to be an MMA event with our co-promoters Mike and Kristi Bowersock of Dragon's Den MMA. The event will have national exhibition featuring musical acts and celebrity guests. I'd also like to see a country show in our near future as we have ties to major artists in that arena."

Newbauer, as part of keeping MTP followers apprised of development stages for the Motion Pictures division, has posted projections for their upcoming feature film in development, "FISH IN A BARREL" a comedy in the vein of "Knocked Up" "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Superbad." The projections can be downloaded on Pink OTC at: http://tiny.cc/ygFea. The figures contain worldwide totals with low, medium and high projections at $12.9mm, $39.7mm and $83.3mm, respectively. The figures posted are conservative as they do not include many ancillary streams of revenue such as merchandising or distribution streams such as new media.

"We're very pleased with the figures, which are based on preliminary plans in regards to the film's budget (appx $5mm), cast prototypes and genre. We've also considered factors and ratios from similar movies over the past few years using tools such as IMDBPro, The Numbers, Box Office Mojo, etc.," says Newbauer. "We're fortunate to have a proactive casting director like Dino Ladki who we can use as a sounding board. Cast is crucial to any independent film looking to make a profit; and names, in this case, are very much a commodity; and like a commodity, there are attractive undervalued players. MTP conducts significant research to identify players that are currently undervalued as part of our overall strategy to maximize ROI."

The company is in final stages toward acquiring a much anticipated Literary Option as well and their "Dresden Sun" (www.dresdensun.com) team will be deciding on shooting locations in the next few weeks and MTP will be posting revenue projections for that project accordingly. Casting for both 'Fish" and "Dresden" are to begin Fall 2009. MTP is also in final discussions with action icon, Fred "The Hammer" Williamson, to produce a low-budget vehicle as an answer to Williamson's 'blaxploitation' hits of the 70s. details to come.

Mike The Pike Productions, Inc. Signs for Three Years With InvestmentNation

Aug 19, 2009 15:52:40 (ET)

FORT WAYNE, IN, Aug 19, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- (PINKSHEETS: MIKP) -- Mike The Pike Productions, Inc. CEO/President Mark B. Newbauer announces that the company has signed a 3-year Agreement with Investment Nation in favor of increased transparency as well as shareholder feedback and communication. The agreement allows for MTP to host a CEO interview once every month so that the company may address direct questions, suggestions and overall feedback from shareholders and prospective investors. As well, MTP, by signing, allows itself to be graded on several criteria such as customer service, product viability and others.

"I'm really happy to have signed with Jeff Montagne, CEO of www.InvestmentNation.com . The website has ever-growing popularity and is one of the least biased I've seen in terms of content and company ratings and, unlike sites like OTC Pink Sheets, it does not charge money to companies for disclosure postings, etc.," states Newbauer. " It's refreshing because there are so many sites out there that indirectly pressure CEOs to focus more on their stock symbol than on the company itself. Stock performance is a high priority with Mike The Pike Productions, but only in that MTP success overall, through profits, strategic relationships and mutually beneficial partnerships, is our top priority and we'd rather see the stock grow with the company, organically. This philosophy allows for, yes, slower growth, but with a sturdy foundation that cannot be matched. This isn't opening weekend for a shoddy film where we overspend on promotions to compensate for lack of content. It's a company that will grow with each of our successes be it an acquisition, a concert/event or a feature film. And this product, Entertainment, is like no other, in that we're playing in high risk/high reward territory but with a diversification model inherent to our company that helps ensure consistent growth."

Mike The Pike Productions CEO Mark B. Newbauer will be interviewed on www.InvestmentNation.com in Conference Room 1, Thursday, August 20th, 2009 at 6pm EDT. Questions are currently being taken on the site and will be addressed in the interview. Newbauer is excited to discuss the upcoming literary acquisition for MTP, Newbauer Media Relations, casting for feature films, the Concerts/Events promo department, their plans for a physical studio infrastructure and more.
