First American Scientific Corp (FASC – OTCBB) acquires 50 % interest in South Korean joint venture company to further introduce KDS technology to South Korea

Abbotsford, BC - (WORLD STOCK WIRE) - June 16, 2009 -- First American Scientific Corp. (OTCBB: FASC) is pleased to announce it has acquired a 50 % interest in JP FASC Korea Co. and signed a new exclusive license agreement to manufacture and market the KDS technology in South Korea.

Operating under the name “JP FASC Co., Ltd”, we will jointly, in conjunction with our Korean partner, setup a fully operational KDS processing facility in South Korea to showcase our technology. The grant of the new expanded license confirms our confidence in our technology and need for the KDS System in Korea’s energy and waste management sectors. The first KDS sale under the new regime goes to a forestry company, Energia Co. Ltd, who has a recycling contract to clean up the local forest by turning waste biomass into usable energy products.

Our first royalty check arrived this quarter with a share of the profits to follow. Under the agreement, all funding for the Korean operation will be provided by the Korean shareholders.

According to Mr. Nichols, President of FASC “ this solidifies our position in the Korean market, as we gain strength and credibility in a region where the disposal of waste has become an urgent problem as dense populations are crowded into relatively small land mass. The KDS System can solve waste management problems by converting problematic waste materials such as wood waste, biomass, agricultural waste, pulp sludge, and municipal waste into valuable resources; lowering disposal costs and creating green energy.”

First American Scientific Corp. develops, manufactures, licenses, and sells the KDS Micronex system, a patented disintegration system capable of cleaning and reducing many types of waste materials to a fine dry powder suitable for combustion, or to be used as a nutrient- rich, pathogen-free fertilizers.

FASC now has licensees in Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Brazil, USA and Canada and marketing representatives in Norway, Poland, Russia and Australia.

For other applications using the KDS Micronex, please refer to our website for further details at www.fasc.net.

First American Scientific Corp (FASC – OTCBB) FASC completes installation at Eco-Organic Ltd. in Riga, Latvia

Abbotsford, BC - (WORLD STOCK WIRE) - June 24, 2009 -- Brian Nichols, President of First American Scientific Corp. (OTCBB:FASC) is pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the set up and trial runs of the KDS Model S-6 installed at the processing facility of Eco Organic Ltd. near Riga, Latvia. The plant is located 30 km east of Rezekne, Latvia.

Our staff engineer recently provided a week of training in Latvia to Eco-Organics staff, including head project engineer and renouned author, Dr. Vladimir Dementjev, in the set up and operation of the KDS equipment. “After configuring the electrical panel, I had the KDS up and running smoothly and was able to process sample raw materials to demonstrate the KDS’ ability to grind and dry their specialty products. At the end of the day, the client’s were very satisfied with the KDS’ performance and capabilities.”

Eco-Organic is a manufacturer of organic soil conditioners and fertilizers made from geological deposits originating from water plants and residues of animal origin in combination with fragments of higher plant tissue, pollen, sand, clay, peat and various trace minerals.

According to Brian Nichols, “our KDS equipment produced a clean dry powder from the moisture laden peat and algae, and will greatly enhance the quality and production of the Latvian operation. This will also help us expand the KDS’ acceptance throughout Eastern Europe and the European Union. This is our second installation in Latvia.”

July 2009

Cost effective moisture removal to create alternative fuel

In North America there are more than 100 million wet tons of sewage sludge disposed of each year. By removing the moisture and pathogens from the waste, disposal problems can become a nutrient-rich soil amendment product that can be recycled back to public and private lands or can be combusted to create heat or electrical energy. Latent energy resident in waste fiber can contain up to 5,000 BTU/lb, but its extraction is hindered when the material is laden with moisture.

The patented KDS system from First American Scientific Corporation is a combined dryer and particle size reduction system that mechanically removes water from waste biomass without the use of supplemental fuel. The resultant end product is an economical fine dry powder that can be easily pelletized, or burned in dust burners.

The KDS’s cost effective moisture removal capability is the key. By micronizing waste biomass, the KDS system can cost effectively capture its latent energy. By compacting this energy into pellets, the BTU’s can be cost effectively shipped worldwide.

By recapturing the hidden energy in waste materials, First American’s equipment and expertise can reduce energy costs and convert an expensive environmental problem into a profitable business.

10+ years into the company's existence and we might be getting our first revenue based quarterly profit.

Over this time the O/S is still a respectable 200 million, with no reverse splits. This stock is poised to do well in today's climate of energy and environmental awareness.
