2007-07-27 09:46 ET - News Release
HOUSTON -- (Business Wire)
American Security Resources Corporation (OTCBB:ARSC) announced today that its Hydra Fuel Cell Corp. subsidiary has received a purchase order for an 8 kilowatt HydraStax® residential fuel cell system from a waterfront resident on the Texas Gulf coast.
Bob Farr, President and COO of ARSC, stated, “This buyer lives on the coast and has experienced loss of grid power during tropical storms and other occasions. With this system he can be independent of the grid and even sell power back if he chooses. We expect to ship this system within 90 days. This is a very big sale for us.” Farr continued, “The residential market is where we see our greatest sales potential. We expect this installation to demonstrate the value of fuel cells as reliable backup and primary electric sources for everyday use as well as secure power in weather emergencies.”

What am I missing here? The first PR in the thread says that they sold ONE system to some guy in Texas. WTF kind of revenue could that possibly create?
And the second PR about engaging NW Financial, isn't it basically just saying they went to the bank and may get some funding at some point in the future?
I'm cynical by nature, but these PRs don't even seem worthy enough to be called fluff.

Company was in development stage. Seems like the revenue is starting to trickle it. Hence the interest. there has been dilution in the past as shares were issued for services and that's stalling the run. But the ask is thin and lot of accumulation at this new level. Awaiting certification that is due anytime now.

Ohio University Grants ARSC's American Hydrogen Corp Subsidiary Exclusive Worldwide License for Ammonia-to-Hydrogen Technology 12 minutes ago - BusinessWire American Security Resources Corp. (OTCBB:ARSC) and Ohio University (www.ohio.edu) announced today that American Hydrogen Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of ARSC, has been granted a worldwide exclusive license to commercialize the patent-pending catalytic electrolyzer technology developed by Ohio University's Dr. Gerardine Botte, associate professor of Chemical and Bio-Molecular Engineering at the Russ College of Engineering and Technology.
Botte has developed a method for producing hydrogen from ammonia for a fraction of the current commercial cost. Hydrogen can be used as a fuel source in a wide range of applications, including transportation and energy production.
Benjamin Schafer, president of American Hydrogen and CTO of Hydra Fuel Cell, said, "Working with Ohio and Dr. Botte, we have advanced this technology to a stage where we are ready to move to commercial applications. Our research indicates that we should be able to produce hydrogen commercially for significantly less per kilogram than by current industrial hydrogen production methods. We expect our first application to be a hydrogen generator for the HydraStax(R) fuel cells, but ultimately, we want this technology for economical hydrogen production to be widely distributed so as to unlock the promise of "The Hydrogen Economy"."
Dr. Botte, looking forward to working with American Hydrogen to advance the technology, stated, "It is really amazing to see the ammonia electrolysis technology being taken into the market place; that is the dream of any investigator and faculty member." Botte continued, "Our interaction with American Hydrogen Corporation is excellent. We are really happy to partner with them, and we will support their goal of having products in the market very soon."
Ohio University
Established in 1804, Ohio University is the oldest public institution of higher learning in the State of Ohio and the first in the Northwest Territory. Serving some 20,000 students, Ohio University has been cited for academic quality and value by U.S. News and World Report, America's 100 Best College Buys, Princeton Review's Best Colleges, and Peterson's Guide to Competitive Colleges. The John Templeton Foundation also has recognized Ohio University as one of the top character-building institutions in the country. Ohio University ranks first in the state of Ohio for nationally competitive awards won by its students.
