MOTV1 Executes Attack on Urban Media Through Cable, Internet, and Mobile Broadcasting Table Set for Substantial Revenues May 11, 2007 10:28:00 AM PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/11/07 -- RMD Entertainment Group (PINKSHEETS: RMDN) announced today that MOTV1 has made major progress in becoming a formidable urban broadcast power this year with a full-on assault of every media format available, including cable broadcast, internet broadcast, mobile phone broadcast, and SMS text messaging.
Cable broadcasting made the most progress. Contracts have been executed in PA, DE, NJ with a reach of 2.7 million homes on the Comcast Cable network. Houston, Texas has been agreed to in principle with a contract expected by week's end. The Houston broadcast will also be on a Comcast housed network and will reach an audience of 2.5 million households. Negotiations are ongoing for Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. Of those markets, the Los Angeles deal has progressed the furthest. Signals in NJ, DE, PA are scheduled to be live on June 1st and the Houston signal is targeted for the June 15th. Programming on the Comcast system will be listed by the names of individual shows and video blocks shown on MOTV, the network on regional guides and TV Guide as well.
Mobile broadcast of the 24-hour signal of emerging network will be made available by subscription to cell phone users on June 30th. The network is able to broadcast its signal to customers of all mobile carriers around the globe without restriction as long as their handset unit has a media player and can surf the internet.
SMS text messaging capabilities are very close to becoming a reality MOTV1 can add to its arsenal as well. Discussions with providers of the service have progressed rapidly and management expects to have the capability contracted out by May 30th.
