I bought 100k shares 2-3 weeks ago for $400. Then it dropped and I left in my account. Today when I checked my account this is what happened

02 May 2007 NGI - NEON COMMUNICATIONS GROUP INC AS OF 05/02/07 SHRS RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE XCH 9R 392.00 USD 04 May 2007
I got 392 shares of Neon Communication NGI in exchange of 100k shares of globix. Neon was trading today at 4.9 and I sold at this price and made approx $2000.
It is a great news for me but since I am new, can someone please explain me what happened here. There is no news and GBIXQ is still sitting at 0.003. There is something which I dont understand. Thanks

Hmm, that's weird. I don't see any dividend on the otcbb.com daily list for GBIX or GBIXQ, so I'm not sure what happened. Hopefully they don't come back to you later and say "Whoops, we screwed up, give us the shares back."

It takes 3 days to settle, so don't get your hopes up yet. I had an automatic sell execuite on CCNG and the next day it was back then they did a R/S and I got pennies instead of hundreds.
