Canon's new e-dictionaries, models "wordtank V300 and M300," are available in Japan starting in February. Canon projects a manufacturing rate of 90,000 units per model for the year. These new Canon devices utilize Fonix DECtalk® TTS, the industry leading TTS technology for limited-memory applications, and Fonix VoiceCompress(TM), a new tool allowing developers to significantly compress audio files, freeing up device memory for other functions.
