FAIRHAVEN, CA, Sep 12, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- TrendSetter Solar Products, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TSSP) today announced that the California Solar Initiative (CSI), passed August 24th, 2006 by the California Public Utilities Commission, spells an opportunity for TrendSetter Solar Products, Inc. Of the $3.2 billion funding approved, CSI has set aside $100 million which is dedicated to Solar thermal renewable energy solutions.
Dirk Atkinson, CEO of Trendsetter, said, "The San Diego Regional Energy Office (SDREO) is charged with developing a pilot program for the implementation and compliance of Solar thermal renewable energy systems that will be eligible for the funds set aside by the CSI. We at TrendSetter Solar Products, Inc. see this as an opportunity and are actively working with the SDREO towards participation in the program."
He further noted, "TrendSetter is scheduled to participate in two events in the 2nd Annual Solar Energy Week, launched by the non-profit SDREO in San Diego from September 24-30, 2006. The first, Family Solar Energy Day, will be held Sunday, September 24, 2006, which will offer the general public an opportunity to learn more about Solar. IMO this whole sector with Bio tech has taken a hit, short gains short lived. Good for a flip here and there though. Energy bonds may be a good idea also.. http://www.sdenergy.org/eMessages_View.asp?MsgID=193

I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble because this is one of my stocks too, but it does this quite a bit lately. Usually with a PR, but good for a pop between .02 and .03. Was getting great play in early/mid July but hasn't seen anything much since....even with some volume.
