We are working closely with the Governors of the Gulf states to formulate the emergency response plans for the Hurricanes and other catastrophes. We attended the Hurricanes conference this year in Mexico and the governors were fully committed to using our technology based upon our successful implementation in Veracruz. We expect to have a bright future in Mexico as we put in the ERC's. The exact timing this year is still uncertain however we believe they will get started sometime this year. There is also much work to be done from past catastrophes that have seriously impacted soil and clean water supplies that will keep the ERC's very busy.
I don't wish a hurricane on anybody but I would like to help them be prepared for a variety of emergencies including hurricanes and BUGS/SSWM can do that.

Glad you jumped on board PaliMike. I do not understand the hesitation on this stock which has the potential to rise quickly, especially in September. It is a GREAT buy at .0135.

CARLSBAD, Calif., Sep 08, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Robert Brehm, CEO of U.S. Microbics, Inc. (BUGS)(BCN:615212), an innovative environmental products and services company, announced that its majority owned subsidiary, Sub-Surface Waste Management of Delaware, Inc. (SSWM), and its Mexico subsidiary company, Environmental Tec International, S.A. de C.V. (ETI), have submitted remedial cleanup plans for $2MM of funding in Puebla at the Governor's request and have also obtained a $500,000 working capital line to speed up the project execution timetable in Mexico.
ETI is also working with the Governor of Veracruz's staff to accelerate the implementation of eleven emergency response centers now that recent hurricane activity on the West Coast of Mexico and in the Caribbean have shown the importance for emergency response contingency plans. ETI is in the final negotiation phase to initially equip and staff and operate centers that are being set up to address civil protection and exposure to toxic releases such as fuel and oil spills that occur periodically as well as during storm events such as hurricanes.
Brehm commented, "Last Week the ETI professional staff presented rapid remedial cleanup plans of approximately $2 Million for the sites known as Los Pinos and San Lorenzo in the State of Puebla at the request of the Governor who intends to fund these projects and authorize commencement of work this month. To speed up the implementation timetable for these projects, SSWM also obtained a $500,000 working capital line for its Mexico projects which helps cover the mobilization and startup costs."
Brehm elaborated, "The ETI staff also had an excellent meeting with Governor Ortiz of the state of Tlaxcala to present a plan to site, permit, design, build and operate an integrated sanitary waste management facility to serve the State and other designated communities. He was very impressed with the concepts we presented and we expect further developments as this project begins to mature and specific tasks and costs are defined."
Brehm concluded, "SSWM and ETI are making excellent progress in Mexico working with various governors and their staff. Our goal is to have $3 to $5MM in contract backlog, which would be the highest in the company's history, as we enter our new fiscal year on October 1. With the Puebla and electric utility contracts immediately pending we should be able to meet this goal with the work we are completing in September."
