WESTMINSTER, Colo., June 21, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Arete Industries, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ARET) (Arete) announced today an update on the status of the letter of intent for merger. Arete Industries, Inc. announced on May 8, 2006 that it had received a letter of intent and non-refundable deposit of $25,000 for the due diligence period that was to end June 12, 2006. "The process has been slow but the parties are close to terms on a definitive agreement for the purchase and merger of an oil & gas company," stated Charles Gamber CEO of Arete. The Company still needs to deal with the status of its inactive subsidiary Aggression Sports, Inc. dba Arete Outdoors and the final settlement of its outstanding debt. The Company feels like it will be able to complete the final agreement and settle all of its open items by no later than the middle of July 2006.

ARET looks like it has bottomed after about two weeks of daily selling. ARET Closed today at .0109 and after taking a close look at the chart it looks like upside potential is coming back into the stock.
ARET Chart & Commentary
The last two weeks have been brutal on the mental aspect of stock investors that have not experienced daily selling pushing a stock lower and lower. I understand many have sold but a veteran buying a stock for a merger continues to add to his position not being concerned about a 1/2 penny correction. Corrections are necessity in the stock market.
Here is my read on the ARET chart.
The RSI has turned upward from the lowest range it's been in since the December reading, only goes back to December.
The MACD is turning from weeks of negative selling. As the stock continues to build support the MACD should show a reversal from selling to positive buying pressure. Watch for a crossover of the fast line through the slow line kicking a buy signal. Remember this indicator lags the market.
Stochastic indicator has crossed through with the fast line moving through the slow line indicating a buy signal is taking place. This indicator does move quickly compared to the MACD.
Readers, I love the set up I am looking at today. The chart has set up nicely for a move higher. Once news comes out the indicators have a long way to move before they are overbought. This gives plenty of trading days for a major move in my opinion.
**Congrats to those that held and for those that sold waiting to reenter now is the time to roll the dice once again.

ARET .013x.0133 and moving with nice volume....looks like short squeeze is on and something brewing with merger news set for mid july.

If the company and Mr Gamber are diligent we could even see this move along more quickley than expected. You will start seeing alot of people jumping in just in case. History holds that Mr. Gamber is very punctual if not early!!!!!
Get ready, any day next week!!! And possibly someone might catch wind early and get us some insider info on who the Florida Oil & Gas Company is!! (Offshore Exploration!!!!)

bs check out when there 10k was late, they had a n extension and they said it would be due on or before that date, tehy didnt report until a few days later... If anything I will buy next thurs/friday when the price is back to .011 glta

That was because they were probably running out of money, they are in debt and they are a shell. With the $25,000 they recieved from the LOI it probably payd for alot of stuff to get the process rolling.
Anyways, its a minor thing and was handled promptly and put in order. I dont think Mr. gamber wants to F*** this one up actually i garuntee it. Nor do i think he can since they have been forth coming with PR's and regular filings and the dividend from the Avetek spin-off. Maybe we will see a PR tomorrow about a buyer for Aggression Sports!!
Well anyways, good luck on getting more around a penny again, with that day (which we dont know) approaching quickly you might be SOL.

Looking very strong this morning.... .014x.0149 charts will look good higher highs and higher lows going into next week ...with oil at all time high breaking $75 bbl any news will rocket this stock

Not much volume today. at these levels it sure is going to walk its way up before take off when the news hits. Imagine if we are at .02 before news, then news hits, WOW, what a day that would be.
