1 Gig Version of Klegg Mini to Be Launched Nationwide in Tower Records Tuesday June 13, 4:06 pm ET Klegg's New Version to Have Nationwide Distribution at Tower
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 2006--Klegg Electronics announces that Tower Records will carry Klegg's world's smallest color display MP3 player known as the "Klegg Mini." in its stores nationwide. The Klegg Mini endorsed by Paula Abdul, "Diva of American Idol" has been very popular, primarily being sold through Klegg's online web store; however Tower Records will become the first music retailer to carry the product nationwide in its stores.
ADVERTISEMENT The Klegg Mini is the smallest MP3 player with a color display. The 1 Gig version of the Klegg Mini will hold up to 400 songs, 40,000 photos, and hours of voice recordings. Consumers will be able to find the Klegg Mini in a variety of colors at Tower Records by mid-summer.

The miniature MP3 is approximately 1.8 inches in length, 1.6 inches in width and 1/2 inch thick. The miniature MP3 features, 512 MB / 1 GIG flash memory, playback photos, slide shows, one inch color display, voice recording with play, pause, fast forward, reverse, next track, previous track and shuffle play. good DD. thanks for the info. i'm in the music biz and tower records (for those who may not know) is one of the kingpins of retail CD distribution (among other things). this will move tomorrow. closed at .18 should be a BIG day tomorrow. wouldn't doubt if something that small, with hype, gets POP placement as well.

hey all, just putting in another reply on here to keep it near the top because i want us all to make money. tower records is about as big as it gets in the music biz and there's word on the HSM boards that their next distributor is going to be even bigger (virgin maybe? i dunno, but there aren't too many out there bigger than tower). i've already placed a limit order for 4500 shares at .22 (in hopes of staying ahead of the ask and not having to chase to .25) and have been placed in que for tomorrow's start. GLTA!
from the HSM boards: "I wasn't planning on calling him (anthony) this evening because B2b put up a splendid update. I was on phone with a buddy of mine and telling him how great the news is and I am excited about what is in store for us. I also told him about the huge short seller who has been depressing the stock price. That got us talking and in the end I decided to call Anthony to check out on the 'short story'. Anthony took the call right away, his voice was upbeat:-) I conveyed our happiness about the distribution news. I asked him about how they are planning on handling the short sellers. What he told me stunned me. He said lots of shares(most of the float I infer) could be short!!! He said they will have to cover soon or later. He is happy about many market markers coming back and sounded they are working on it. He said the management wants to see a higher share price and a better return of investment for the share holders. I asked about the next PR and he said they would announce at the right time(to make sure shorts are on the run I infer). I asked whether the new distributor would be as big as this one. He said it would be even bigger but quickly adding tower is an exceptional company and Klegg every reason to be happy because tower is investing money to buy Klegg products to fill their shelves. There could be more than one new distributor. He said the magnitude of the distribution agreement is big but difficult to quantify it easily at this time. Klegg is in a totally different league and it is a different ball game for the shorties now. He said they have a few more good PRs in pipe line. All this may not be new but the conversation was so upbeat today. Good luck to all!

WIth all the terrible pinks out there getting so much attention, this one is getting nothing and its pathetic. Sales up 260%, and profitable, huge celebrity endorsement, great products. Lets see how long it can stay at these levels. We should see dollar end of summer IMO.

well, we're not in the .3s any longer, but the same percentage increase would be very welcome. :-) with this bit of news and another distro deal on the horizon i can't not see this thing back at a buck before long.

make sure the 'space' between 'hot' and 'stock' is not there when you input the link into your browser. i only did that cuz the allstocks boards automatically put stars when someone posts a link to the HSM boards.

I'm liking it and would love to see this back to its $2 - $3 range. I'll be watching this and possibly jumping in on it later today after the bell. Think the ask is at .20 right now.

yeah, the ask closed at .20, but with qued up orders from here to the moon, it could open at .22 or higher. then if you're chasing, it might be tough to get in even at .25. and on the plus side, if it doesn't move the quickly from the opening bell, you can just modify your order down a penny or two.

Our system posted a BUY-IF today. The previous SELL recommendation was issued on 06.09.2006 (4) days ago, when the stock price was 0.1900. Since then KLGE has fallen -5.26% .
