When you look at Level 2's you will see what the different MM's have orders in for. (In this case 15 minutes delayed)
The names like NITE, UBSS, etc. are the designations of the different MM's that have orders for that particular stock. (Just because there is an order at a cetain price...that doesn't mean it is realistic or that it will get filled anytime soon)
The left side of L2's show what is on the bid. The right side of L2's show what is on the ask.
It won't tell you what the future holds but it is another tool that can help you make educated decisions about what YOU think will happen.

P.S. Thanks for the link Bob! Not surprised by the glitchs in the L2"s. Very hard to get completely accurate numbers for stocks this small.
For small fry traders and newbies who aren't ready to start paying for the services (or for cheapskates like me) this will be very useful.

Am I missing something here? Ameritrade has real-time L2 with a subscription fee....what is new about "this" service?
