The Fight Network Goes Mobile!
24-hour sports channel rolls out news service for mobile telephones
Toronto, Canada, May 31, 2006 – The Fight Network TM , North America’s first and only 24-hour combatant sports channel, has launched FIGHT MOBILE – a mobile telephone service that offers the latest news, insight, interviews and features on boxing, wrestling, the mixed martial arts and other combatant forms.
FIGHT MOBILE is now available in the United States on Verizon Wireless’ Mobile Web 2.0 network. Other first-tier carriers are preparing to launch the U.S. service in the near future, while Canadian national and regional carriers are in discussions to add FIGHT MOBILE to their mobile content. When fully deployed, FIGHT MOBILE has the potential of reaching over 220 million cell phones in North America.
“We put a lot of time and attention into building this application,” said Mike Garrow President of The Fight Network. “We wanted FIGHT MOBILE to be the most important single source of news for all fight fans. I want to express our appreciation to our partners at Setanta Mobile and Trajectory Sports for their expertise in producing and managing mobile sports content internationally. They have been, and will continue to be, instrumental in translating The Fight Network to the mobile medium worldwide.”
Features currently offered through FIGHT MOBILE’s WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) programming include Headline News, Ring Results, Profiles & Interviews, World Rankings, Event Listings, Ringside Plus, Round-by-Round coverage, Trivia and Contests, Training Tips and Fight Babes. These features apply to the boxing, wrestling and the mixed martial arts.
“Fight sports are one of the most popular sports genre worldwide, and we are pleased to be producing this international mobile program in association with The Fight Network. We have had a very positive response to the program, because it is compelling content for our Mobile Network partners in North America and around the world,” said Anthony Dillistone, the Executive Director of Setanta Mobile for Asia and the Americas. “Being the first ones in this market puts The Fight Network miles ahead of the competition.”
FIGHT MOBILE also plans to move into the European and Asian markets via Setanta Mobile’s strong relationships with mobile network operators in these markets. This can increase the potential cell phones with access to FIGHT MOBILE to over 500 million.
Setanta Mobile played a key role in designing and implementing the FIGHT MOBILE wireless project, with the support of Trajectory Sports & Media Group, which also brokered the deal. Setanta Mobile is handling the technical aspects of placing content on wireless carriers in the U.S. and Canada, and both companies will continue to play pivotal roles in growing the service in North America and around the world.
The worldwide mobile phone market presently serves approximately 2 billion users, with this number projected to double in the next two years, according to published research reports. It is Fight Network’s goal, in partnership with Setanta Mobile and Trajectory Sports, to be on over 1 million mobile telephone handsets worldwide within the next few years.

keeping a real close eye on this one. feeling like it could be the next xkem. right now though (for me with semi-limited funds) still a little too volatile. love the momo and GLTA! will def be buying in when it rolls above .001 and solidifies stronger support.

There is a fair amount of MMA programing from China and Japan on TFN, so going mobile overseas is a definite possibility.

Well it's confirmed... not only are we on Verizon but now on Cingular AND Sprint as well. TFN has the potential to rival a network like Univision and you know what they are worth... 10.7 BILLION. Pretty soon we're talking real money. Even with 10 billion shares outstanding the math is pretty simple. Roughly a dollar a share. Give me a dime a share and I'll be happy.

Fragglemoney: belated thank you for the chart tip (though I am a little proud of myself for spotting that, even if it was nothing much). My only regret is that I'm only in for a million, but I've only been at this a few months and the last few weeks have been brutal so I don't have that much to put into the greats yet.
If it doesn't take off too fast tomorrow I may pick up another 300,000 or so, but that's the best I can do.

Don't get too excited. This is a long term play, by subpenny standards. If it doesn't gap tomorrow, you shouldn't get suicidal. Expect to hold this for a few months to get a very nice gap.

Nobody get excited but I think we are seeing who is going to be our first US Carrier. By the looks of this link from Direct TV it is a real BIG possibility it will be Direct. Just LOOK who is advertising at the bottom of this page. I just POPPED a WOODY....

i only ask cuz (though i will do my own DD first), i'm seriously considering dropping some coin into this one with all the current momo it's getting and from the other positive things i've heard.

Good Morning Fight Fans, This little baby was born with a silver spoon in its mouth.....in the right place at the right time. Soooooooo many opportunities developing on a daily basis......the growth, the exposure, Just yesterday (increased penetration of mobile markets) This week ...partnership with racing and "Hitman" announcement..coming...the store (e-bay ??) Soon (and ya gotta believe its close)video penetration in the USA. All in a FAST GROWING marketplace... I know I remain redundant but this BRAND is growing and getting more valuable each day. Expansion plans
To date we have launched our services on most of the major carriers in Canada and a number of the smaller carriers. We anticipate by the end of 2006 that the remaining carriers will add TFN to their line-ups. In addition we have hired Trajectory Sports of New York to assist in getting us launched in the United States; the people from Trajectory are working very hard and we feel that it is only a matter of time before we lock down our first of many U.S. carriage deals. As well, we have had enquiries from several other countries around the world (Mexico, Panama, Australia, England, Ireland) which we are pursuing with the same conviction as North America.

This sounds like BKMP is ready to skyrocket........I know it's chart is similar to how uspx was....but I do not see bkmp running high and then dropping like usxp.....I think we should hold for a while because this is really gonna move fast to a dollar and more in the next two to three months? Any other thoughts on this????

I brought the majority of my shares at .0002 with a few profits along the way, but I am holding this strong until we get some US carrier news.

The problem with these stocks are that to hit a dollar you need a reverse split eventually. We'll never see a dollar with that many shares outstanding. I'll still be loving life if we hit a dollar though lol
