I am doing something majorly wrong. I have lost about 500 in the last 2 days. Any suggestions? BTW, I am a newbie.

That sounds like a great idea, but IMO the truth about the stock market is it is YOU against EVERYONE ELSE, at least when you come right down to it. That is just the blunt truth!!!!! You can't make money unless someone is losing money. I don't mean to imply that it is a 1 to 1 transaction, because it usually isn't. And it is nothing personal, at least not on my part. But we are all adults on this board, and prudence would dictate that you do a little of your own DD before acting on any... shall we say "tip". The point is that people are always going to be left "holding the bag" no matter what you do. I say go ahead and post the price, there is nothing wrong with that, but I would think that, that information is easy enough to find out anyway. I guess my message is, just like many others have already said, nobody is interested in "helping" you put money in your pocket. They want to help you put your money in their pocket, that is the way it works. It isn't anything personal, that's just the way it works. It isn't you against the MM's like I hear so often, it's you against that other person on allstocks.com or anyone, anywhere else, as well as the MM's. I'm not saying that if someone (myself included) posts a positive or negative piece of information about a stock, that it must have ulterior motives. I'm just saying that the bottom line is that everyone is trying to put money in THEIR pocket. And maybe, the greatest truth of all is, at least with the type of stocks talked about on this board, it's you against the CEO and the others (if there is anyone) that run these companies, with their never ending claims of all the goods and services that they will produce...someday! Sorry if I'm rambling and GLTA

May has been a bloody month for most, a few momo plays, a handful of truly good plays, a lot of dilllution on many companies this month it seems.....all in all the month of May HAS SUCKED IMO !!!!

as 10 of 13 stated you don't lose until you sell at a loss, so weed out your crap and hold tight to your good ones
IMO there will be more bleeding in June dump your junk while you can, and look for new stocks at lower levels

I would say if you are gonna chase....only buy a little maybe 25% of what you would normally. I thought i was chasing VRTL (005 +300%) so i only bought 80k then got hit on a few bids for a total of 95k.....and the rest is history i dumped all above 02

I always like to the date of the original post and see what has happened since then. If a post says, " About to run!", on 5/7 and it has run already, then you know it's over. Check the charts and the recent past PPS.

play along, don't merely look at charts etc and say, "I wish." Force yourself to WRITE DOWN your buy, against actual Bid/Ask...record whether a similar order gets filled. If it doesn't? would you change your order? Why? If you decide to change? Does *it* get filled?
IMMEDIATELY upon filling, "enter" your "Sell order." Does it get filled? Does the pps tank soon after, stall--or run on quite a while? Keep notes... very detailed.
