thats after hours trading.. If it is on the NADAQ then it is anyhone trading, if it is OTC then it is MM's trading. In any case if they were buying yesterday after hours it's because they received information that is helpfull to raising the PPS and will be the first ones trading on it on Monday.

Go in and check the acrtivity for after hours and also look at the company they are negotiating with to sell part of theeir business
The company got an eight-month extension in April from Judge Burton Lifland in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan to file the plan.
The company, whose bankruptcy was among the 10 largest in recent U.S. history when it was filed last year, ended 2005 with total consolidated assets of $20.5 billion and a stockholders' deficit of $5.5 billion.
In the report, Calpine also said that the exclusivity period on its planned sale of the Otay Mesa power plant to a unit of Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE - News) had expired and that the two sides were negotiating an extended exclusivity deal.
