16:03 EST Monday, May 01, 2006

CRANFORD, N.J. (Business Wire) -- SoftNet Technology Corp. (OTCBB Symbol: STTC) (German WKN#: A0B7RZ) is pleased to announce that they have expanded operations of the company to the southern region of the United States. The headquarters for this region will be in Dallas, Texas.

The personnel running the Dallas regional office is of the highest level and already is expanding STTC's relationship with T-Mobile. The continued expansion is important because it allows SoftNet to offer more coverage and a wider range of services for national and international clients. Atlanta, Georgia acts as the regional center for the Southeast United States while the corporate Headquarters in Cranford, New Jersey acts as the operational center for the Mid Atlantic and Northeast region of the Country. Further geographical expansion is expected shortly.

"Client companies can now feel comfortable knowing that no matter where they require service that SoftNet can provide it," said Mr. James M. Farinella, CEO of SoftNet Technology. "Bringing SoftNet to a narrowed Business focus in the past 6 months is really starting to pay big dividends as internal growth and profitability is increasing at quickened rates."

BUSINESS UNITS

Solutions Technology, Inc.

Solutions Technology, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of SoftNet Technology Corp (OTCBBl: STTC) providing biometric identification services that integrate into customer business processes for: identity verification, secure site access, and time & attendance. The company's vision for biometric solutions is unique to the industry. This vision is to completely eliminate the complexity and the cost of ownership for our customers. The company provides a value proposition that is impossible to beat: They provide solutions purely as a service. Due to the high cost of ownership and the complexity of biometric systems, many companies are unable to implement a solution that meets all of their needs. Other companies find themselves unable to support a solution involving biometric technology and management because it is neither their business nor their competency.

The SecureTime biometric solution utilizes technologies that identify, capture, and manage resources and other demand information. Their system enables clients to supervise and control their resources precisely and become more efficient; this directly affects their bottom line. The client advocacy approach, quality service, and rigorous delivery have garnered the trust of customers and earned solid references from 100 percent of their clients

WholesaleByUs:

WholesaleByUs (WBU) is a web-based, application server based software system that looks to take advantage of the boom in internet commerce. In fact, Google's IPO focused investor attention on the growth of the overall search engine marketplace, while Shopping.com's IPO helped focus investor attention on comparison shopping search. WBU looks to take advantage of this burgeoning industry through its proprietary technology that optimizes every aspect of the internet marketplace. The WBU system gives customers the ability to provide suppliers, manufacturers, retail stores and the like, exponentially expanded visibility and awareness for their products.

Distribution and sale of manufacturer, supplier and retail outlet products utilizing the WBU technology for distribution and sale dramatically increases awareness and visibility for these products through different portals on the Internet. WBU's technology allows the companies that supply the products for sale through the WBU system to benefit from increased product offerings at no additional cost. The process simply cuts through the shopping search clutter to bring, the lowest retail price.

The price has dipped down to support at .06 and has bounced off a little. A poster at Ihub emailed Farinella about the 10q filing date and the response was that they were on track to file by the 15th. If they make their forecast towards revenue and have cut some cost this may be a very good entry price. TMAN...

one of Leeds picks since February, no real movement for a while (dropping, up a little, dropping again).
if you're willing to hold it for years - this is it...
not bashing, just my experience with this stock (as with other Leeds picks)...

I'm looking at holding this one for 10-12 months. By looking at the chart and the solid business platform I figure that I should be able to turn my $1000 into $4000 over that time.

I agree with you jpd64... I lost quite a bit of $ playing "pennies"... I've had much more success with stocks of this type of quality.

I traded commodities futures from 97' to 01' and I'll tell you this, too many sleepless nights, lol.
These pennies are much more relaxing and as you said, stocks like this are just my speed now.
