Altus Expands Agreement With Centro Medico Excel PALM DESERT, Calif., May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Altus HealthCare Incorporated (Pink Sheets: ATUH) announces the recent expanded agreement with Centro Medico Excel, Tijuana, B.C. Mexico, to include comprehensive hospital services in addition to outpatient surgery services. Centro Medico Excel, a modern full service hospital, agreed to expand its relationship with Altus beyond its surgery facilities and permit access to the Altus Network for all procedures and services that the hospital offers. The agreement will include diagnostic and therapeutic services in addition to elective and non-elective surgeries for both inpatient and outpatient services. With this agreement, Altus' physician network will be able to offer first class comprehensive hospital services at affordable prices. Altus and Centro Medico Excel will jointly strive to make this undertaking a success, and will continue to plan to expand the services being proposed in Tijuana into other regions along the US-Mexican border.
This 'Border Community' has been termed one of the most 'underserved' areas of the country in healthcare delivery by the joint commission established by the governments of Mexico and the United States. This target population has difficulty getting proper medical treatment as a result. ATUH closes the gap between physicians and patients by providing a multitude of services that works both ways. ATUH helps patients find physicians, facilities, products and deal with financing.
On the other end ATUH help doctors by providing the following services; facility usage, scheduling issues, marketing and IT support.
There are over 4000 stand alone outpatient surgery centers in the US, most of which are privately owned facilities. Statistics show that of the 4000 centers, most only operate at 27% capacity. ATUH's goal is to contract with these facilities to bring this percentage up.

The volume seems to be VERY low.
avg volume over last 4 weeks 98,495 volume this week has easily doubled that
