ACMG (Ethanol, Biodiesel, Polyols): CNN Live General Ethanol Discussion on Saturday, 5-13-06.
On Saturday around 11:00 AM, 05-13-06, I was watching CNN and they had a specialist interviewed about Ethanol. I cannot find the online link, the following is encapsulated: The basic discussion was that using CORN or such for Ethanol would require too many acres farmland and the cost per person would be too high for current production rates. Then Brazil was mentioned as they have 40% Ethanol usage now and are self reliant for energy. He brought out that the USA has only a small number of Ethanol stations presently compared to Gasoline (obviously, and we use a small mixture). He also stated that Minnesota is going to push 20% Ethanol use. Then they discussed how auto manufacturers are ramping up production of alternative fuel friendly cars, it only costs a little over $100.00 to put in the items needed to run various fuels, this is very inexpensive.
NOW THE BOTTOM LINE: The specialist highlighted the promising methods for Ethanol production: SUGARS and CELLULOSE (plant by products and fibers, such as ACMG's Organic Waste and Agriculture residue). He predicted cellulose and waste plant production to be 4-5 years off (Not so with ACMG!!). Sugar conversion to Ethanol is getting on board now also. I beleive the costs to produce and OCTANE levels received from these methods are why these forms of production are the best. Corn is not going to do it in the long run, space constraints, cost, farmland, etc..
Who do we know that is going to produce Ethanol with an organic waste process that has 40% less production costs than current methods? Alexander Cavasin, PhD, CEO of ACMG. They will be able to produce Polyols, Biodiesel and Ethanol (100-102 Octane). I believe the website states his first plant to be completed within 1 year will concentrate first on Polyols as there is a greater shortage of Plastics and Polymers (site picked, funding already placed), with the second plant being the Ethanol and the third plant being the Biodiesel. He also writes on the website that he is currently seeking 3 million in funding to create plant 2 and plant 3 sooner than expected. Good news for all. Also of great significance is that they are going to offer licensing opportunities throughout the world. This stock will react strongly with news and PR in the future, hang on, it will be worth the ride (IMHO)! As usual do your own DD, this is speculative and you are at your own risk. Read his website, it is not 100% completed yet, but is very informative.
